Abstract

The article presents a study on the utilization of KrudKatcher Ultra In-Line Filters to broaden the ultra high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) column lifetime. The study aims to illustrate the benefit of KrudKatcher Ultra in-line filter for extending column lifetime. It concludes that the regular use of KrudKatcher with UHPLC columns protects and extends the lifetime by protecting them from damaging microparticulates that may be present in the sample and mobile phase.

Abstract

The article discusses a study on the extension of ultra-high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) column lifetime using KrudKatcher Ultra in-line filters. The study sets up a chromatographic separation of a ketone mixture on a Kinetex column on a UHPLC system to show the extension of UHPLC column's lifetime. It concludes that the use of KrudKatcher Ultra in-line filters protects and extends the lifetime by protecting them from microparticulates.
