Abstract

The article proposes a training set sample selection method based on the simple-to-use interactive self-modeling mixture analysis (SIMPLISMA) algorithm for calibration in analysis of near-infrared (NIR) spectrum. It utilizes the method for NIR spectral analysis of the content of protein, water, oil, and starch in corn. It also mentions that SIMPLISMA can be used to select training samples to construct a calibration model in NIR spectral analysis.
