Abstract

The article offers information on reduction of coke formation and saving operation costs with optimization of Dimethyl disulfide (DMDS) into ethane cracking furnaces. Topics discussed includes production of olefins by steam cracking furnaces in petrochemical industry, use of sulfur based inhibitors for the reduction of coke and carbon monoxide, and blocking the catalytic effects by heteroatom elements for specific metallic elements.
