The article offers information on the best practices for maximizing the accuracy, reliability, and response of hydrogen-ion concentration (pH) electrodes. It suggests the use of a semi-spherical glass bulb to achieve accurate electrode measurement, solid reference electrode to minimize contamination and plugging problems, and flowing reference junction to equilibrate minimum junction potential. Moreover, the use of wireless pH transmitters terminates the ground path causing noise and spikes.
