Abstract

The article features ecdysterone, which has been considered as the most important characteristic components found in niuxi. Niuxi is a Chinese herbal medicine which refers to the dry root of the plant Achyanthes bidentata Blume. A study is conducted through an intensive experiment to find the correlation between near-infrared diffuse reflection spectroscopy and the partial least squares. Discussion of the results of this query is also offered.
