Abstract

The article focuses on the 2010 Urban Mobility Report (UMR) of the Texas Transportation Institute (TTI), which revealed how economic rebound causes increased traffic congestion. According to the report, congestion started to grow again in 2009. Meanwhile, Transportation for America director James Corless argued that the flaws in the analysis of the report could create faulty conclusions over what it shows.
