The article focuses on the people involved in generating drug interaction information for health professionals' use. The people involved include data generators, such as basic scientists who research on the molecular mechanisms of drug-drug interactions (DDIs), information analysts who read the papers generated by data generators and produce electronic databases of DDIs, and clinical decision support (CDS) producers who convert what the information analysts produce for clinicians' use.
