The article provides information on an Adaptive Jet Cleaner with integrated contamination sensor (AJCsens) being developed as an intelligent tank cleaning system within the research project autoRein. Topics include the support for the project by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), the basis of the project, an example of the determination of contamination using AJCsens, and the advantages of the innovative tank cleaning system.
