Abstract
The article that farmers in Wales are being urged by National Farmers' Union (NFU) of Cymru to highlight the value of Welsh farming to Wales in line with the consultation on plans of the Welsh government for the future of farming after Brexit. Topics covered include economic impact of the support given by the government to farming according to a research commissioned by NFU, and overview of the consultation paper which proposes the abolition of direct payments to farmers.
