The article presents an interview with Diana Haneski, library media specialist at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School (MSDHS) in Parkland, Florida. Among the issues she discussed include how her survival from the February 2018 mass shooting at MSDHS led her to implementing initiatives aimed at supporting students' emotional recovery, the significance of River, a Bernedoodle and therapy dog, to the library, and how she helped transformed the library into a student relaxation area.
