Abstract

The article highlights the opening of Myplas USA's plastic film recycling facility in Minnesota, part of a collaborative effort to establish a regional circular economy for flexible films and packaging materials in the Upper Midwest. Led by Minnesota's MBOLD coalition, the initiative is supported by major investors, including General Mills, Schwan's Company, Charter Next Generation, Target, and Ecolab, with the facility expected to recycle nearly 90 million pounds of plastic waste annually.
