The article offers poetry criticism of the poems "L'Après-mid d'un faune" and "Bucolique" by Stéphane Mallarmé. According to the author, the latter work is a reimagining of the former in a form which blends poetry and prose. It is suggested that "Bucolique" also reimagines the act of imagination depicted in the poem.
