The smart shopping cart introduces a revolutionary shopping cart system designed to enhance the shopping experience for customers. The system leverages RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology to allow customers to effortlessly add and remove products to and from their cart by simply scanning the relevant product RFID tags. As products are added or removed, the system dynamically updates and displays the product names and the total price on an LCD screen, ensuring customers can easily keep track of their purchases. The main features of this innovative shopping cart are its autonomous mobility. The cart autonomously follows the customer throughout the store, eliminating the need for customers to push or pull heavy loads. This autonomous movement is achieved by implementing an ultrasonic sensor system that constantly measures the distance between the customer and the cart. Through advanced algorithms, the cart can maintain a safe and convenient distance, providing a hands-free shopping experience. By seamlessly integrating RFID technology for product management and ultrasonic sensors for distance tracking, this smart shopping cart aims to streamline the shopping process, reduce physical strain on customers, and enhance overall convenience. This showcases the potential of combining emerging technologies with sustainable materials to create a more efficient, enjoyable, and environmentally friendly retail experience.
