Abstract
This article presents a review of Algimantas Kasparavicius's "Lietuva 1938-1939 m. Neutraliteto iliuzijos" (Lithuania in 1938-1939: the illusion of neutrality), published in 2010, which examines Lithuania's policy of neutrality prior to World War II in the context of the policies of its Baltic, Soviet, and European neighbors, and Lithuania's limitations in terms of political and military power in following this course.
