Beebe's teachings on types agrees in many respects with Myers, that for Jung, 'typology was not a separate theory; it was an integral part of the foundation of analytical psychology' (p. 45). Steve Myers' 2019 book I Myers-Briggs Typology vs Jungian Individuation: Overcoming One-Sidedness in Self and Society i is one of two recent books on the subject of Jung's theory of types that has wafted me with a breath of fresh air!
