Using SEA TADPOLE with micrometer-range spatial and femtosecond-range temporal resolution, we report the first direct spatiotemporal measurements of ultrashort Bessel-X pulses. Papers are presented on solid-state lasers for remote sensing, diode-pumped Nd:YAG lasers, and tunable solid-state-laser systems. Topics discussed include titanium-sapphire tunable laser systems, the performance of slab geometry, and the development of slab lasers.
