We report an {\it ab initio} simulation study of changes in structural and dynamic properties of liquid Si at 7 pressures ranging from 10.2 GPa to 24.3 GPa along the isothermal line 1150~K, which is above the minimum of the melting line. The increase of pressure from 10.2 GPa to 16 GPa causes strong reduction in the tetrahedral ordering of the most close neighbors. The diffusion coefficient shows a linear decay vs drop in atomic volume, that agrees with theoretical prediction for simple liquid metals, thus not showing any feature at the pressures corresponding to the different crystal phase boundaries. The Fourier-spectra of velocity autocorrelation function shows two-peak structure at pressures 20 GPa and higher. These characteristic frequencies correspond well to the peak frequencies of the transverse current spectral function in the second pseudo-Brillouin zone. Two almost flat branches of short-wavelength transverse modes were observed for all the studied pressures. A novel fast algorithm for finding quasi identifiers in large datasets is presented. Performance measurements on a broad range of datasets demonstrate substantial reductions in run-time relative to the state of the art and the scalability of the algorithm to realistically-sized datasets up to several million records.

Results of long-term investigations of variation of cobalt beta decay rate from 28.12.2010 till 08.02.2012 are presented. The scintillation spectrometer with two LaBr3 detectors is used to register of gamma-quanta with energy 1.173 and 1.332 MeV accompanying cobalt beta decay. Counting rate of each detector and their gamma-quanta coincidence are collected in successive time intervals 10 s. The statistical Kolmogorov-Smirnov method for data analysis is used. Temperature influence on experimental results is also analyzed. Deviations of beta decay counting rate from constant distribution during the days were detected in those decades: from 11.03 to 21.03 with significance level a = 0.1; from 22.04 to 02.05 with a=0.0125; from 24.06 to 04.07 with a=0.05; from 04.08 to 14.08 with a=0.05., Comment: 11 pages, 6 figures

An explicit relativistic light-front model is presented which gives the momentum transfer dependent form factors of weak hadronic currents among heavy pseudoscalar and vector mesons in the whole accessible kinematical region $0\leq q^2 \leq q^2_{\max} $. It is shown that in the limit of infinite masses of active quarks these form factors can be expressed in terms of universal Isgur-Wise function. The explisit expression for this function is obtained. It is shown that neglecting of pair creation from the vacuum in calculations of form factors does not violate Luke's theorem., Comment: 14 pages, 1 figure

An explicit relativistic light-front quark model is presented which gives the momentum transfer dependent form factors of weak hadronic currents among heavy pseudoscalar and vector mesons in the whole accessible kinematic region $ 0\leq q^2 \leq q^2_{max} $. For the numerical investigations of the $ B \to D^* l \nu_l $, $ B \to \rho l \nu_l $, $ D\to K^* l \nu_l $ and $ D \to \rho l \nu_l $ semileptonic decays the equal time wave functions corresponding to the updated version of the ISGW model are adopted. Using the available experimental information on branching fractions $ BR(B \to D^* l \nu_l) $ and $ BR(B \to \rho l \nu_l) $ the CKM parameters $ V_{cb} $ and $ V_{ub} $ were estimated: $ |V_{cb}| = 0.036 \pm 0.004 $, $ |V_{ub}| = 0.0033 \pm 0.0004 $. Weak transition form factors among heavy pseudoscalar mesons are investigated within a relativistic quark model formulated on the light-front. It is shown that the light-front result derived in the time-like region for the matrix elements of the plus component of the weak vector current coincides with the spectator pole term of the quark triangle diagram. For the first time, the dependence of the form factors on the squared four-momentum transfer $q^2$ is calculated in the whole accessible kinematical region $0 \leq q^2 \leq q^2_{max}$. For the numerical investigations of the semileptonic $B \to D \ell \nu_{\ell}$, $B \to \pi \ell \nu_{\ell}$, $D \to K \ell \nu_{\ell}$ and $D \to \pi \ell \nu_{\ell}$, the equal-time wave functions corresponding to the updated version of the ISGW model are adopted. Our results for the form factors and the decay rates are presented and compared with available experimental data and predictions of different approaches. Moreover, the $K^0_L \to \pi^{\pm} ~ e^{\mp} ~ \nu_e$ decay is briefly discussed.
