The article presents the result of the study conducted by University of Bochum in Germany and University of California Los Angeles in California which is led by Michael Sand regarding the in-flight medical emergency. The study shows that fainting is the most common in-flight medical emergency with a total of 5,307 cases out of 10,189 emergencies. It is followed by gastrointestinal problems with 926 cases and 509 cases of cardiac condition.
