In this article, the Hausdorff dimension is estimated using the box-counting dimension and the information dimension. It is shown that the former is an upper bound for the Hausdorff dimension, while the latter is a lower bound for the box-counting dimension, and that the information dimension is an upper bound for the Hausdorff dimension. In this work, we will study a numerical method that allows finding an approximation of the exact solution for a in-situ combustion model using the nonlinear mixed complementary method, which is a variation of the Newtons method for solving nonlinear systems based on an implicit finite difference scheme and a nonlinear algorithm mixed complementarity, FDA-MNCP. The method has the advantage of provide a global convergence in relation to the finite difference method and method of Newton that only has local convergence. The theory is applied to model in-situ combustion, which can be rewritten in the form of mixed complementarity also we do a comparison with the FDA-NCP method, Comment: 17 Pages

In this work we study the exponential stability of the energy associated with a Naghdi shell model with localized internal dissipation. Using several tools from Riemannian Geometry we show the well possedness of the model, via semigroup theory, and obtain observability inequalities which allows to prove the exponential decay of the total energy. As a consequence then we use Russell Principle for obtain exact controllability.

In this paper we study the complexity in the information traffic that occurs in the peruvian financial market, using the Shannon entropy. Different series of prices of shares traded on the Lima stock exchange are used to reconstruct the unknown dynamics. We present numerical simulations on the reconstructed dynamics and we calculate the Shannon entropy to measure its complexity

Everything we know about the environment around us is thanks to light, a kind of electromagnetic radiation. Astronomy takes advantage of it and all the electromagnetic spectrum with the help of many devices to record them and determine from which places in our Universe they come. These signals must be processed to obtain the images that are will be then exposed to the public. Astronomers know that these images will inspire and generate curiosity in each person who sees them. This Science is inclusive and wants to transmit the knowledge and the beautiful events that happen in the universe to all people. We try to do that by developing and showing other forms of teaching, taking advantage of new technologies that are available today to bring this knowledge closer to the minorities in our country like visually impaired people. Because of this problem, the AstroBVI project arrived in Peru for the first time, thanks to the distribution of tactile images of 3D galaxies that were delivered to us from the Centro de Astronom\'ia de la Universidad de Antofagasta of the and financed by the International Astronomical Union Office of Astronomy for Development (IAU-OAD). This allowed the holding of seven workshops during 2019, visiting various institutions and benefiting more than 160 participants with blindness and low vision, identifying in them a lot of interest, which shows the enormous potential presented by these 3D tactile materials., Comment: 6 pages, 8 figures

Physicists experimentalists use a large number of observations of a phenomenon, where are the unknown equations that describe it, in order to play the dynamics and obtain information on their future behavior. In this article we study the possibility of reproducing the dynamics of the phenomenon using only a measurement scale. The Whitney immersion theorem ideas are presented and generalization of Sauer for fractal sets to rebuild the asymptotic behaviour of the phenomena and to investigate, chaotic behavior evidence in the reproduced dynamics. The applications are made in the financial market which are only known stock prices.

In this work we study one problem of mathematical interest for their applications in several topics in Applied Science. We study simultaneous controllability of a pair of systems which model the evolution of sound in a compressible ow considered as a transmission problem. We show the well posed of the problem. Furthermore provided appropriate conditions in the geometry of the domain are valid and suitable assumptions on the fluid, is possible to conduce the pair of systems to the equilibrium in a simultaneous way using only one control.

We derive a bound on the magnetic dipole moment of the top quark in the context of the effective Lagrangian approach by using the values of the ratio $R_b = \Gamma_b/\Gamma_h$, $R_l = \Gamma_h/\Gamma_l$ and $\Gamma_Z$.
