2. Study the vibration and dynamic response of the dipole girder system for CSNS/RCS

Abstract

China Spallation Neutron Source is a high intensity proton accelerator based facility, and its accelerator complex includes two main parts an H- linac and a rapid cycling synchrotron. The RCS accumulates the 80MeV proton beam, and accelerates it to 1.6GeV, with a repetition rate of 25Hz. The dipole of the CSNS RCS is operated at a 25 Hz sinusoidal alternating current which causes severe vibrate. The vibration will influence the long term safety and reliable operation of the magnet. The dipole of the CSNS RCS is an active vibration equipment which is different from the ground vibration accelerator. It is very important to design and study the dynamic characteristics of the dipole girder system. This paper takes the dipole and girder as a specific model system, a method for studying the dynamic characteristics of the system is put forward by combining theoretical calculation with experimental testing. The modal parameters with and without vibration isolator of the dipole girder system are obtain through ANSYS simulation and testing. Then the dynamic response of the system is calculated with modal analysis and vibration testing data. The dipole girder takes four-point support system which maybe appears over constrained in the progress of adjustment. 4. Effective Absorption Enhancement in Small Molecule Organic Solar Cells by Employing Trapezoid Gratings

Abstract

We demonstrate the optical absorption has been enhanced in the small molecule organic solar cells by employing trapezoid grating structure. The enhanced absorption is mainly attributed to both waveguide modes and surface plasmon modes, which has been simulated by using finite-difference time-domain method. The simulated results show that the surface plasmon along the semitransparent metallic Ag anode is excited by introducing the periodical trapezoid gratings, which induce high intensity field increment in the donor layer. Meanwhile, the waveguide modes result a high intensity field in acceptor layer. The increment of field improves the absorption of organic solar cells, significantly, which has been demonstrated by simulating the electrical properties. The simulated results exhibiting 31 % increment of the short-circuit current has been achieved in the optimized device, which is supported by the experimental measurement. The power conversion efficiency of the grating sample obtained in experiment exhibits an enhancement of 7.7 %.

5. Ground-state Properties of Tonks-Girardeau Gas in One Dimensional Periodic Potential

Abstract

The relations among the occupation number of the lowest natural orbital (ONLNO), momentum distributions (MD) and off-diagonal long-range element (ODLRE) of the reduced single-particle density matrix (RSPDM) are studied while Tonks-Girardeau gas in one dimensional periodic potential is in the ground state. For $N$-body systems of large enough, RSPDM and its lowest natural orbital do not vary with $N$ in overlapped areas in commensurate and incommensurate cases correspondingly. In commensurate case, the ODLRE is exponential attenuation with $N$, which results in that the ONLNO and MD are invariant with $N$. While in contrast, in incommensurate case, the off-diagonal elements are inversely proportional to $\sqrt{N}$, which results in the different behavior of the ONLNO and MD., Comment: 7 pages, 10 figures
