The article examines the importance of utilizing what is referred to as non-traditional data sources to complement existing data concerning sustainable development, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) adopted by the member states of the United Nations (UN) in 2015. It discusses artificial intelligence (AI), the use of data to analyze challenges facing Syrian refugees in Lebanon, the creation of the Sudan Horizon Scanner (SHS), and utilizing social media amid COVID-19 lockdowns in Tunisia.

Purpose: This paper draws on the affordance perspective, to explore the social media (SM) usage experiences that might render valuable for academic women professionals, for knowledge exchange, networking and success. Owing to the increased SM usage during COVID-19 pandemic, this paper tries to find out that in what ways do SM affordances facilitate the underprivileged group of women professionals to grow in their careers in a masculine, conservative society through knowledge exchange. Design/methodology/approach: By utilizing qualitative study design, the authors collected data from 31 women employed in Pakistani universities, through unstructured questionnaires. The responses were analyzed through Nvivo. Findings: The generated themes suggested that women in Pakistan are aware of SM's potential for knowledge exchange among fellow professionals. They use it to aid them in communication, collaboration and networking. Additionally, they utilize it to share knowledge and build networks that are vital for career progression and success. Research limitations/implications: The paper concludes with the implications for practitioners that would aid them in boosting career prospects for women academicians through SM usage in a developing country Pakistan; where women's career outlooks are not as promising as for men; or as bright as for women working in the developed economies. Purpose: The purpose of this systematic review is to summarize the possible organizational outcomes related to knowledge management capabilities (KMCs). It aims at offering the modern-day dynamic organizations a path, through which they can utilize KMC at hand for gaining competitive advantage and positive organizational outcomes. The review is based on previous studies in the field of knowledge management and explains how KMCs are associated with various organizational outcomes. Design/methodology/approach: A systematic approach was utilized to collect, examine, interpret and synthesize researches regarding KMCs and their usefulness for various organizational outcomes. The meta-synthesis method was adopted to review 106 research papers after careful selection. Findings: It was evident from this integrated review that KMCs help in promoting organizational effectiveness, innovative ability, organizational change, value creation, competitive advantage, organizational learning and performance. Furthermore, the current review suggests research avenues and knowledge gaps in current literature to provide future researchers unique research opportunities. Originality/value: The review revealed a profound opinion that organizations have to develop an optimal mix of KMCs to achieve better organizational outcomes. The study identified how KMCs set a basis and build positive support to enhance the key organizational outcomes such as organizational effectiveness, innovative ability, organizational change, value creation, competitive advantage, organizational learning and performance. In this article, the two-dimensional model is decomposed into two one-dimensional models using the minimal rank-decomposition condition, and the model reduction is conducted on these two one-dimensional models using time-limited Gramians. The proposed framework works for both one-dimensional and two-dimensional systems. The suggested approach addresses the primary flaw in Gawronski & Juang's problem of reduced-order model instability. Researchers revealed some stability preservation solutions to address this key flaw, which ensure the stability of one-dimensional reduced-order systems; nevertheless, these strategies result in large approximation errors. However, to the best of the authors' knowledge, there is no literature available for the stability preserving time-limited-intervals Gramians based model reduction framework for the two-dimensional discrete-time systems. In comparison to other stability-preserving strategies, the proposed framework provides an a priori error-bound formulation that is easily computable. A rotating MHD flow of electrically conducting Oldroyd-B fluid through non-Darcy porous medium across a stretching/shrinking surface is investigated in purview of bioconvection effects. The fluid velocity field, temperature field, concentration of nano materials and that of bio microorganisms have been simultaneously formulated in the form of coupled nonlinear partial differential equations. The quest for improved thermal performance in practicable situations has motivated to utilize some real fluids like Oldroyd-B nanofluids with support from bioconvection effect to stabilize nanoparticle fraction. The zero normal flux of the nanoparticles and convective boundary condition are imposed. The substitution of appropriate similarity functions has resulted a set of ordinary differential equations (ODE). The sparse system of transformed ODEs was simulated numerically with bvp4c solver facilitated by MATLAB commercial software. Computations were executed for specific parameters to perceive the response of velocity, temperature, concentration of nanoparticles and concentration of microorganisms, skin friction coefficient and local heat transfer rate with variation of influential parameters. It is detected that fluid temperature profile rises when Deborah number, Biot number, parameters for buoyancy ratio, porosity, rotation, magnetic field strength, thermophoresis diffusion are enhanced. Purpose: China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a framework of regional connectivity in which employees have to work in a cross-cultural environment. This study has extended the leader-member exchange theory by investigating the mediating role of employee commitment (EC) between the relationship of leader-member exchange (LMX) and employee's work-related behaviors. Design/methodology/approach: PLS-SEM technique was used to test the model by utilizing a multi-wave/two-source data collected from employees and their supervisors (n = 500) working in different energy projects of CPEC. Findings: According to the results/findings, LMX has a significant positive impact on employee commitment, employee performance (EP) and open-minded discussions, but insignificant impact on innovative work behaviour (IWB). Mediating role of employee commitment was significant between the relationship of LMX with EP and open-minded discussions, but insignificant with the IWB. Originality/value: The study contributes empirical evidence to understanding the leader-member exchange relationship among Chinese managers and Pakistani workers. It also contributes to the LMX theory literature by investigating the effect of LMX on followers' outcomes (employee performance, IWB, open-minded discussions) through employee commitment. Sierpinski graphs constitute an extensively studied class of graphs of fractal nature applicable in topology, mathematics of Tower of Hanoi, computer science, and elsewhere. A large number of properties like physico-chemical properties, thermodynamic properties, chemical activity, biological activity, etc. are determined by the chemical applications of graph theory. These properties can be characterized by certain graph invariants referred to as topological indices. In QRAR/QSPR study these graph invariants has played a vital role. In this paper, we study the molecular topological properties of Sierpinski networks and derive the analytical closed formulas for the atom-bond connectivity ( ABC ) index, geometric-arithmetic ( GA ) index, and fourth and fifth version of these topological indices for Sierpinski networks denoted by S ( n, k ). Wheeler's delayed-choice experiment highlights strange features of quantum theory such as pre-sensing of the experimental setup by the quantum object and the role of time. A recent proposal for such an experiment with an interferometer having a quantum beam splitter (QBS) [R. Ionicioiu and D. R. Terno, Phys. Rev. Lett. 107, 230406 (2011)] and its subsequent experimental implementations through photonics and NMR have produced results including the modification in the concept of complementarity. Here we propose a matter-wave Mach-Zehnder-Bragg cavity-QED interferometric setup with final QBS engineered through a cavity field that is taken initially in the superposition of zero and one photon. The setup operates through first-order off-resonant Bragg diffraction of the neutral atoms from the cavity fields with the matter wave's particle (wave) nature marked through the absence (presence) of a photon in the final cavity. The proposal, addressing the issue through atomic de Broglie waves, can be executed within the present cavity-QED experimental scenario with appreciable success probability and fidelity. The article offers information on increasing the ethane content in liquid feed obtained from fluid catalytic cracking unit. It mentions that there is vast increment in the recovery of natural gas in the U.S. because of application of horizontal drilling and the use of fracking technology in shale reserves. It also mentions that though ethane feed cracking has been largely favored but still plant owners should check several operational and capacity constraints before maximizing ethane feed.

Sierpiński graphs are broadly investigated graphs of fractal nature with applications in topology, computer science and mathematics of Tower of Hanoi. The generalized Sierpiński graphs are determined by reproduction of precisely the same graph, producing self-similar graph. Graph invariant referred to as topological index is used to predict physico-chemical properties, thermodynamic properties and biological activity of chemical. In QSAR/QSPR study, these graph invariants act a key role. In this article, we studied the first, second Zagreb and forgotten indices for generalized Sierpiński graph with arbitrary base graph G. Moreover, we obtained some sharp bounds with different parameters as order, size, maximum and minimum degree of G for these topological indices of generalized Sierpiński graph. Purpose: A paradigm shift toward a corporate model of higher educational settings has led to complex and excess work demands, yet the potential long-run ramifications of work overload are still under-examined. Building the arguments on the "spiral of resource loss" corollary of the conservation of resources (COR) theory, the authors have bridged this gap by testing how work overload spills over into career resilience via reduced harmonious passion. In addition, the authors compare how the employees having standardized workloads differ in their harmonious passion and career resilience from those having excessive (non-standardized) workloads. Design/methodology/approach: Through a longitudinal natural field experiment of 402 faculty members [N = 198 in the standardized group (optimal load) and N = 204 in the non-standardized group (overload)] working in higher educational institutions of Pakistan, data were collected in three waves (each six months apart). The group comparison, trend analysis and longitudinal mediation analysis done through SPSS and MPlus affirmed the hypothesized associations. Findings: The results have shown that work overload impacts career resilience through the mediating role of harmonious passion. The faculty members in the standardized workload had more passion and career resilience as compared to the non-standardized workload group. In addition, these impacts intensified overtime for the overloaded faculty members while faculty members with optimal workload sustained their passion and resilience for the teaching profession. Originality/value: Taking the COR perspective, this study sheds light on how faculty members' work overloads reduce their capability to retain their passion and resilience for teaching from a longitudinal and experimental perspective. The core objective of this paper is to investigate the problem of robust nonlinear observer-based controller design for one-sided Lipschitz (OLS) switched systems. This work considers nonlinear switched systems with norm-bounded uncertainties, time-varying delays, and external disturbances. By selecting appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functions and applying the OSL condition together with the quadratic inner boundedness property, we drive certain necessary and sufficient conditions for the observer-based control of the underlying system that assure the exponential convergence of the system states, the observer states, and the error states to zero, in respect of linear matrix inequalities via average dwell-time approach. Perovskites had gathered considerable attention as they presented interesting properties and were studied for their potential applications. In this theoretical work, device-to-device comparison using two different materials for state of art of memristors are explored. Effect of substitutional doping of Al atom (Al sub) with the different concentration (25%, 50%, 75% and 100%) being source of noise (external perturbation) on magnetoelectric properties of two perovskites GdFeO 3 and NdFeO 3 are investigated for studying resistive switching phenomena. We examined formation energy and magnetoelectric properties of the perovskites using Vienna ab initio simulation package (VASP) based on density functional theory. Calculated formation energies showed that 75% Al-NdFeO 3 is the most stable element of this study. Density of states and spin polarized density of states showed that conductivity of both composites increased with increasing concentration of Al and became maximum for 75% doping concentration. This confirmed the constructive role of noise (dopant being external perturbation). Strong conductive channel illustrated in isosurface charge density plots with stronger charge transfer from integrated charge density plots of 75% doping concentration confirmed this result. Electronic properties endorsed that 75% Al sub doped NdFeO 3 with enhanced electronic character is highly preferable to exercise in resistive switching (RS) mechanism for future memory device applications. • Basic memristor characteristics are investigated for oxygen vacancies filaments in polymorphic Titania. • The electronic modification subsequently with the creation of the oxygen vacancies in TiO 2 phases have been investigated using density functional theory in depth which could support underlying mechanism of resistive switching. • Integrated charge density plots depicted charge transfer mechanism of three crystalline phases of TiO 2. • The conductivity of the phases increased with increasing the number of oxygen vacancies; and eventually resulted that the considered phase opted the low resistance state. • From iso-surface charge density, integrated charge density and formation energy calculations, it is predicted that brookite phase of TiO 2 having 3V o is more stable and more conductive for various applications. Inconsistency of resistive switching parameters in memristors is a major challenge in the development of memory devices. These variability issues can be resolved by using materials having capability of easily growing conducting filaments and less value of oxygen vacancy formation energy (OVFE). In this first principle study, device to device variability by the electronic modification subsequently with the creation of the oxygen vacancies in TiO 2 phases have been investigated using density functional theory. The lattice constants, OVFE, density of states (DOS), partial density of states (PDOS), iso-surface charge density and integrated charge density are calculated to understand the structural and electronic properties of polytype TiO 2 with single-, di- and tri-oxygen vacancy (V o) at atomistic level. It is found that by introducing the V o s, defect states are formed within the band gap, which caused to increase the conductivity of crystalline phases of TiO 2. The conductivity of the phases increased with increasing number of V o s resulting in low resistance state of the opted phase. Existence of various stages of CFs and formation energy at various concentration of V o s predicts the implementation of constructive role of noise to enhance the efficiency and stability of the Titania based memristors. On the basis of easily growing conducing filaments having higher concentration of V o s with lesser OVFE, it is predicted that brookite phase of TiO 2 having 3V o s is more suitable in overcoming inconsistency issues related to resistive switching in low power consuming memristors devices.
