The paper introduces and studies the class of (asymptotically) Stepanov almost automorphic functions with variable exponents. Any function belonging this class needs to be (asymptotically) Stepanov almost automorphic. A few relevant applications to abstract Volterra integro-differential inclusions in Banach spaces is presented.

In the paper under review, we introduce the notions of various types of generalized (asymptotical) almost periodicity with variable exponents. We define and thoroughly analyze an important subclass of (asymptotically) Stepanov almost periodic functions which contains all (asymptotically) almost periodic functions. In this paper we make a subtle use of operator theory techniques and the well-known Schauder fixed-point principle to establish the existence of pseudo-almost automorphic solutions to some second-order damped integro-differential equations with pseudo-almost automorphic coefficients. In this paper we make a subtle use of tools from operator theory and the Schauder fixed-point theorem to establish the existence of pseudo-almost automorphic solutions to some classes of nonautonomous integro-differential equations with pseudo-almost automorphic forcing terms. To illustrate our main results, the existence of pseudo-almost automorphic solutions to a parabolic Neumann boundary value problem that models population genetics and nerve pulse propagation will be discussed.

The main objective of this paper is twofold. We first show that if the doubly-weighted Bohr spectrum of an almost periodic function exists, then it is either empty or coincides with the Bohr spectrum of that function. This paper is concerned with the solvability of some abstract differential equation of type $$\dot u(t) + Au(t) + Bu(t) \ni f(t), t \in (0,T], u(0) = 0,$$ where $A$ is a linear selfadjoint operator and $B$ is a nonlinear(possibly multi-valued)maximal monotone operator in a (real) Hilbert space ${\mathbb H}$ with the normalization $0 \in B (0)$. This paper is concerned with the square root problem of Kato for the "sum" of linear operators in a Hilbert space ${\mathbb H}$. Under suitable assumptions, we show that if $A$ and $B$ are respectively m-scetroial linear operators satisfying the square root problem of Kato. Then the same conclusion still holds for their "sum".
