Avoiding financial losses requires preventing catastrophic oil‐filled power transformer breakdowns. Continuous online transformer monitoring is needed. The authors use paper insulation to evaluate transformer health for continuous online transformer monitoring. The study suggests a new artificial intelligence method for estimating paper insulation residual life in oil‐immersed power transformers. The four artificial intelligence models use backpropagation‐based neural networks to predict paper insulation lifespan. Four primary transformer insulating paper failure indices—degree of polymerisation, 2‐furfuraldehyde, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide—form the basis of these models. Each model, including the backpropagation‐based neural networks, estimates paper insulation life using one failure index, along with moisture and temperature data. Optimisation techniques enhance hidden layer neurons and epoch count for improved performance. Results are validated against literature‐based life models, establishing a precise input–output correlation. This method accurately predicts the remaining useable life of power transformer paper insulation, enabling utilities to take proactive measures for safe and efficient transformer operation. This work presents an effective way to remove ammonium from compost using corn wastes. The study examined the role of experimental factors on the removal of ammonium using a full factor experimental design. The experimental factors and their related levels selected were as follows: Material type (corn cob and corn husk), ratio (10 and 25%), moisture (50 and 70%), and finally duration (30 and 60 days). The results were evaluated with an ANOVA test. A regression model that took into account the significant main and interaction effects was suggested. According to the optimization algorithm, the optimum levels were corn cob, 25% ratio, 50% moisture, and 60-day duration, with a removal efficiency of 91.84%. Particle swarm optimization algorithms (PSOA) is a metaheuristic algorithm used to optimize computational problems using candidate solutions or particles based on selected quality measures. Despite the extensive research published, studies that critically examine its recent scientific developments and research impact are lacking. Therefore, the publication trends and research landscape on PSOA research were examined. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) and bibliometric analysis techniques were applied to identify and analyze the published documents indexed in Scopus from 2001 to 2021. The published documents on PSOA increased from 8 to 1,717 (21,362.50%) due to the growing applications of PSOA in solving computational problems. "Conference papers" is the most common document type, whereas the most prolific researcher on PSOA is Andries P. Engelbrecht (South Africa). The most active affiliation (Ministry of Education) and funding organization (National Natural Science Foundation) are based in China. The research landscape on PSOA revealed high levels of publications, citations, and collaborations among the top authors, institutions, and countries worldwide. Keywords co-occurrence analysis revealed that "particle swarm optimization (PSO)" occurred more frequently than others. The findings of the study could provide researchers and policymakers with insights into the prospects and challenges of PSOA research relative to similar algorithms in the literature. With a focus on the coupling problems of multivariable control for the paper cross‐directional (CD) basis weight caused by a hydraulic headbox, a novel approach of multivariable decoupling control based on sparse decomposition is proposed. The model function of the CD basis weight control for a single dilution water branch valve is used as the basis of a sparse atomic library. Then, according to the deviation curve of the CD basis weight, the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is used to obtain atoms corresponding to each control unit (the multiple dilution water branch valves) to form a sparse atomic library. As each atom in the atomic library contains the control information of the corresponding dilution water branch valve, the decoupling control of paper CD basis weight can be realized via mining control information. The essence of this method is to solve the coupling problems of multivariable control by using optimization theory. Conference organizers often face the following problem: Given a collection of submitted papers, select a subset to be presented at the conference. The bulk of the work often amounts to assembling a pool of reviewers and then sending each submitted paper to several reviewers. We present in this paper a technique for finding a good assignment of papers to reviewers. An important feature of the solution we find is that each paper is sent to at least one reviewer who is "as expert as possible" for that paper. In the Internet era, the e‐commerce industry has risen, its development scale continues to expand, cross‐border e‐commerce (CBEC) has also been born, and it is now in the stage of sustainable development. The rapid development of CBEC also needs the strong support of logistics, the two are inseparable, and today, the development scale of CBEC is constantly expanding. The existing e‐commerce logistics (ECL) model is also gradually unable to meet the increasingly diverse needs of users, and new logistics models need to be actively explored. To change this situation, this paper carried out a specific analysis of CBEC logistics model, and applied embedded technology to ECL, which also built a logistics tracking system. At the same time, combined with the ant colony algorithm, the paper carried out experimental research on the logistics package distribution route planning problem. From the experimental results, in terms of average delivery time, the algorithm's result was 25.95 hr, while the traditional algorithm was 32.53 hr; in terms of average distribution freight cost, the algorithm's result was 163.3 yuan, while the traditional algorithm was 257.7 yuan; in terms of average distribution cost, this algorithm's result was 131.53 yuan, while the traditional algorithm was 211.68 yuan. SUMMARY The present study deals with a comprehensive thermodynamic modeling of a combined heat and power (CHP) system in a paper mill, which provides 50 MW of electric power and 100 ton h−1 saturated steam at 13 bars. This CHP plant is composed of air compressor, combustion chamber (CC), Air Preheater, Gas Turbine (GT) and a Heat Recovery Heat Exchanger. The design parameters of this cycle are compressor pressure ratio ( rAC), compressor isentropic efficiency ( ηAC), GT isentropic efficiency ( ηGT), CC inlet temperature ( T3), and turbine inlet temperature ( T4). In the multi-objective optimization three objective functions, including CHP exergy efficiency, total cost rate of the system products, and CO2 emission of the whole plant, are considered. The exergoenvironmental objective function is minimized whereas power plant exergy efficiency is maximized using a Genetic algorithm. To have a good insight into this study, a sensitivity analysis of the results to the interest rate as well as fuel cost is performed. The results show that at the lower exergetic efficiency, in which the weight of exergoenvironmental objective is higher, the sensitivity of the optimal solutions to the fuel cost is much higher than the location of the Pareto Frontier with the lower weight of exergoenvironmental objective. To fulfil the potential of Li–S batteries (LSBs) with high energy density and low cost, multiple challenges need to be addressed simultaneously. Most research in LSBs has been focused on the sulfur cathode design, although the performance is also known to be sensitive to other parameters such as binder, current collector, separator, lithium anode, and electrolyte. Here, an integrated LSB system based on the understanding of the different roles of binder, current collector, and separator is developed. By using the cross‐linked carboxymethyl cellulose–citric acid (CMC‐CA) binder, Toray carbon paper current collector, and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) coated separator, LSBs achieve a high capacity of 960 mAh g−1 after 200 cycles (2.5 mg cm−2) and 930 mAh g−1 after 50 cycles (5 mg cm−2) at 0.1 C. Moreover, the failure mechanism at a high sulfur loading with characteristics of fast capacity decay and infinite charging is discussed. This work highlights the synergistic effect of different components and the challenges towards more reliable LSBs with high sulfur loading. This paper addressed the trade‐off between timeliness and reliability in joint communication and over‐the‐air computation offloading (JCACO) system under short‐packet communications (SPCs). The inevitable decoding errors introduced by SPC lead to errors in the data aggregation process of over‐the‐air computation (AirComp). Due to limited resources, pursuing high reliability may prevent the JCACO system from meeting delay requirements, resulting in a trade‐off between reliability and timeliness. To address this issue, this paper investigates the timeliness and reliability of the JCACO system. Specifically, the moment generating function method is used to derive the delay outage probability (DOP) of the JCACO system, and the outage probability of AirComp is calculated based on the errors that occur during its data aggregation process. The paper established an asymptotic relationship between blocklength, DOP, and AirComp outage probability (AOP). To balance timeliness and reliability, an AOP minimization problem is formulated under constraints of delay, queue stability, and limited resources based on computation offloading strategies and beamformer design. To overcome the issues of slow convergence and susceptibility to local optima in traditional algorithms, this paper proposed a stochastic successive mean‐field game (SS‐MFG) algorithm. This algorithm utilizes stochastic continuous convex approximation methods to leverage Nash equilibria among different users, achieving faster convergence to the global optimal solution. Numerical results indicate that SS‐MFG reduces AOP by up to 60%, offering up to a 20% improvement in optimization performance compared to other algorithms while also converging faster. In order to further improve the accuracy of short‐term traffic flow prediction on designated sections of highways, a combined prediction model is designed in this paper to predict the traffic flow on designated sections of highways. Firstly, for the shortcomings of artificial rabbits optimization (ARO) algorithm, sine cosine ARO (SARO) is proposed by incorporating sine cosine algorithm (SCA) idea into ARO, and introducing the non‐linear sinusoidal learning factor. Secondly, three mobile inverted bottleneck convolution (MBConv) modules are utilized to form the MB3 module, and with BiGRU are utilized to form the MB3‐BiGRU combined prediction model. Finally, the MB3‐BiGRU model is optimized by SARO to achieve short‐term prediction of traffic flow. The analysis results show that using the United Kingdom highway dataset as the data source, the SARO‐MB3‐BiGRU presented in this paper reduces the root mean squared error (RMSE) by 32.58%, the mean absolute error (MAE) by 30.25%, and the decision coefficient (R2) reaches 0.96729, as compared to BiGRU. Compared with other common models and algorithms, the SARO has good solving capabilities and versatility, and the SARO‐MB3‐BiGRU model has been greatly improved in terms of prediction accuracy and generalization ability, which has better prediction ability and engineering reference value. This paper presents the design of an artificial neural network (ANN) and proportional integral derivative (PID) controller using particle swarm optimization (PSO) for Boeing 747‐400 aircraft pitch control (APC). The combinations of disturbance, open loop unstable and nonlinear dynamics are major problems in a Boeing 747‐400 commercial aircraft. This paper investigates the control mechanism of pitch angle control of Boeing 747‐400 with small disturbance theory linearization methods and ANN based non‐linear controllers. A PID controller is tuned by PSO, whereas the PID is tuned by graphical user interface (GUI) when compared with an ANN controller. The controller for this system was designed using an ANN controller and PID tuned using a recent optimization technique such as the PSO method with integral square error (ISE) as an objective function. A comparative study of the time domain performances of the pitch control of the Boeing 747‐400 commercial aircraft was presented. The ANN controller outperformed the PID‐PSO and PID‐GUI controllers in terms of system performance, including rising time (tr), settling time (ts), percentage overshoot (percent OS), and steady state error, across various elevator deflection angles. Basically, the percentage overshoot and steady state error were 0% and 0 respectively, indicating that the ANN controller achieved an improvement of 100%. Various parameters were compared with the PID‐GUI, PID‐PSO, and ANN controllers for pitch control of the Boeing 747‐400 air craft. The ANN controller architecture comprises of two input neurons, two hidden layer neurons, and one output layer neuron. The simulation was performed using Matlab/Simulink. The results show that the PID‐PSO controller was improved by the ANN controller and the performance specifications of the aircraft obtained by the ANN controller were satisfactory. With the rapid development of Internet of things and information technology, wireless sensor network technology is widely used in industrial monitoring. However, limited by the architecture characteristics, software and hardware characteristics, and complex external environmental factors of wireless sensor networks, there are often serious abnormalities in the monitoring data of wireless sensor networks, which further affect the judgment and response of users. Based on this, this paper optimizes and improves the fault detection algorithm of related abnormal data analysis in wireless sensor networks from two angles and verifies the algorithm at the same time. In the first level, aiming at the problem of insufficient spatial cooperation faced by the network abnormal data detection level, this paper first establishes a stable neighbor screening model based on the wireless network and filters and analyzes the reliability of the network cooperative data nodes and then establishes the detection data stability evaluation model by using the spatiotemporal correlation corresponding to the data nodes. On the second level, aiming at the problem of wireless network abnormal event detection, this paper proposes a spatial clustering optimization algorithm, which mainly clusters the detection data flow in the wireless network time window through the clustering algorithm, and analyzes the clustering data, so as to realize the detection of network abnormal events, so as to retain the characteristics of events and further classify the abnormal data events. This paper will verify the realizability and superiority of the improved optimization algorithm through simulation technology. Experiments show that the fault detection rate based on abnormal data analysis is as high as 97%, which is 5% higher than the traditional fault detection rate. This paper develops a mathematical optimization approach for link‐level air traffic flow management. First, a pure integer programming model is established for the problem on a link level. The model seeks to minimize the weighted summation of ground delay and airborne delay, and offers a more precise modeling for the capacity and traffic dynamics at the merge, diverge, and intersection nodes. The optimization problem is computationally NP‐hard, and a modified genetic algorithm is then presented to solve it. Besides a new chromosome coding rule for converting binary decision into time series vectors, the algorithm uses a taboo mutation operator and an adaptive mutation probability selection operator. Finally, the effectiveness and superiority of the model and algorithm are demonstrated through a real‐world case study in Dalian, China, and some managerial insights are presented. The complexity of power quality (PQ) concerns is intensifying in tandem with the proliferation of inverter‐based renewable energy systems. The integration of power electronic devices within the distribution network exacerbates the complexity and introduces greater temporal variability to signal components. This paper introduces an advanced, online optimization technique for the decomposition and identification of PQ disturbances (PQDs). Initially, an improved variational mode decomposition (IVMD) method is presented, leveraging an energy ratio criterion for precise decomposition of concurrent PQDs. Subsequently, utilizing the characteristic attributes derived from IVMD, an optimized support vector machine (OSVM) algorithm is developed through the synthesis of diverse kernel functions. The OSVM strategically employs distinct kernel functions to augment the discriminability of the feature set. The synergy of IVMD and OSVM enables the detection of multiple PQDs, remarkably even with a minimal amount of training data. A series of experiments have been conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology. The results corroborate that the formulated framework exhibits robust learning capabilities and a high degree of resistance to noise interference. Moreover, the hardware platform experiments prove that the proposed method has a satisfactory real‐time performance for its practicability. Traditional logistics delivery route optimization algorithm has some problems such as long time to find the optimal route. Based on this, this paper discusses swarm intelligence optimization algorithm and logistics delivery route optimization. To solve the logistics vehicle routing problem, considering that the basic ACO (ant colony optimization) has the disadvantages of slow convergence speed and easy to fall into local optimum, this paper proposes a new hybrid population optimization algorithm and applies it to VRPTW (vehicle routing problem with time windows). In addition, the concept of crowding degree in AFSA (artificial fish swarm algorithm) is introduced into ACO. In the early stage of the optimization process, a strong crowding degree limit is set to ensure that most ants are not affected by pheromone concentration to conduct random optimization. The simulation results show that the AC (accuracy rate) of this algorithm is 95.08%, which is higher than the traditional PSO (particle swarm optimization) algorithm and general heuristic algorithm. The hybrid algorithm can effectively improve the optimization efficiency of VRPTW, lay a foundation for solving large-scale VRPTW, and provide new research ideas and methods. With the increasing openness and development of network technology, the network based on the wireless sensor network system has increasingly become an important tool for human social life and production, but it also brings some network security problems. Among them, focus is on network privacy disclosure and foreign intrusion and the research of intrusion detection and privacy protection has increasingly become an important topic of network security. This paper deeply studies the wireless sensor network system based on neural network on the basis of traditional privacy protection and intrusion detection system. Firstly, it applies particle swarm optimization algorithm and constructs a wireless sensor network intrusion detection system based on particle swarm optimization algorithm. The system includes important modules such as data extraction, data analysis, data feedback, and auxiliary decision-making. Compared with other algorithms, particle swarm optimization algorithm does not rely on problem information. It mainly uses real numbers to solve, so the algorithm has strong universality. At the same time, its corresponding principle is simple and easy to implement and less parameters need to be adjusted. Compared with other algorithms, particle swarm optimization algorithm has fast convergence speed and little memory requirement for the computer. At the same time, this paper uses the leap of particle swarm optimization algorithm to make it easier to find the global optimal solution. At the corresponding level of wireless sensor network privacy protection, based on the original data aggregation privacy protection scheme, this paper proposes a privacy protection scheme based on polynomial regression and a user privacy protection scheme based on the same state encryption, which further improves the security of privacy protection and facilitates the management of information. To realize the integrity of user privacy information protection, this paper realizes the decryption of data based on the correlation between binary metadata and compares the corresponding decrypted data with aggregated data, so as to complete the integrity of privacy data protection. The experimental results show that the binary metadata correlation decryption method proposed in this paper and the introduction of the corresponding particle swarm optimization algorithm improve the stability of the system by about 10%, the corresponding system security by a positive proportion, and the integrity of private data by about 10%; therefore, the algorithm proposed in this paper has obvious advantages. Activated carbons (ACs) were prepared from waste Kraft lignin (KL) obtained from pulp and paper industry by chemical activation with H2SO4. The KL was characterized by elemental analysis and thermal gravimetric analysis. The suitable process conditions were optimized by an orthogonal design test [L9 (34)], factors including the activation temperature, concentration of H2SO4, activation time, and N2 flow rate. The morphology and pore structure of ACs were investigated by means of scanning electron microscopy, cryogenic N2 adsorption isotherm. The orthogonal test results suggested that the optimal activation parameters were as follows: 600°C of activation temperature, 35% of H2SO4 concentration, 120 min of activation time, and 100 cm3/min of N2 flow rate. Under the selected conditions, a mesoporous ACs with BET surface area of 873.9 m2/g and total pore volume of 0.485 cm3/g was obtained. Under the present background, optimizing the existing urban rail transit network is the focus of urban rail transit construction at present. Based on DL, this paper constructs the optimization algorithm of urban rail transit network route planning. According to the current urban layout and urban planning, build a suitable rail transit network line form; according to the function, the types of urban rail transit stations are divided, and the optimization of urban rail transit network lines is realized. In addition, according to the K short path algorithm, this paper calculates the effective path between any stations of rail transit and, according to the model, allocates the passenger flow to each path. Experimental results show that the accuracy of real-time traffic flow prediction by this algorithm can reach 94.98%, which is about 9% higher than other methods. This algorithm can effectively optimize the route planning of urban rail transit network. This verifies the effectiveness of the route planning optimization algorithm proposed in this paper. This paper proposes corresponding teaching methods and instructional modes based on predecessors' research on mathematics instructional mode and the current state of mathematics teaching. In addition, this paper constructs a teaching evaluation model based on DL algorithm based on an in-depth study of DL-related theories in order to accurately and scientifically analyze the problems that exist in mathematics teaching. This paper constructs an instructional quality evaluation index system based on rationality and fairness, and uses the BPNN evaluation model to train and study a set of instructional quality data. Finally, the experimental results show that this system has a high level of stability, with a 96.37 percent stability rate and a 95.42 percent evaluation accuracy rate. The results of this paper's evaluation of the mathematical instructional quality model are objective and reasonable. It can accurately assess instructional quality while also assessing problems in the teaching process based on the instructional quality scores and making reasonable recommendations for teaching improvement based on the weak links in the teaching process. van Lenthe, Broer, and Rashid made comments on our 2009 paper [Song et al., J. Comput. Chem. 2009, 30, 399] by criticizing that we did not properly reference the work by Broer and Nieuwpoort in 1988 [Broer and Nieuwpoort, Theor. Chim. Acta. 1988, 73, 405], and we favorably compared our valence bond self-consistent field (VBSCF) algorithm with theirs. However, both criticisms are unjustified insignificant. The Broer-Nieuwpoort algorithm, properly cited in our paper, is for the evaluations of matrix elements between determinants of nonorthogonal orbitals. Stating that this algorithm 'can be used for an orbital optimization' afterwards [van Lenthe et al., submitted] is not a plausible way to require more credits or even criticize others. While we stand by our statement that our algorithms scales at O( m4) and van Lenthe et al.'s approximate Newton Raphson algorithm scales at O( mN 5) (here m and N are the numbers of basis functions and electrons), as we discussed in our original paper, it becomes obvious that any strict comparison among different algorithms is difficult, unproductive, and counteractive. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Summary: In recent years, wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have been widely used in various applications. The localization problem has been identified as one of the biggest problems faced by WSNs. The traditional localization techniques may not be able to handle the issues during the scenario to estimate the location of sensor nodes due to anchor mobility, mobile WSNs, latency, energy harvesting, unfavorable environmental states, and many more issues. However, these issues open the door for the amalgamation of machine learning (ML) and optimization techniques with localization techniques. Motivated by the earlier discussion, we explored various ML and optimization techniques to estimate the location coordinates in a sensor network in this paper. Finally, a comparison of existing ML algorithms concerning optimization techniques has been presented, highlighting their improved outcomes. This research offers a detailed survey by exploring the various parameters for location estimation through tabular forms by incorporating ML and optimized localization techniques. A survey of surveys is also presented to identify the key limitations of existing surveys and to introduce the novelty in the comprehensive study done in this paper. A year‐wise evaluation of ML Techniques with localization (2011–2022) is also discussed and presented over various performance parameters, including energy‐efficiency, accuracy, error, and complexity. This discussion concluded that Hybrid Techniques are least explored for using optimized localization machine learning. In order to improve the efficiency of medical multimedia information sharing, this paper combines cloud computing technology and SOA (service-oriented architecture) technology to build a medical multimedia information sharing system. Building a medical information sharing platform requires integrating information resources stored in information systems of medical institutions and nonmedical information systems related to medical information and forming a huge resource pool. It is important to mine and analyze the information resources in the resource pool to realize the sharing and interaction of medical information. To this end, this paper proposes a gain-adaptive control algorithm with online adjustable parameters and investigates the extension of the mutual entropy optimization algorithm in the control domain and its integrated processing capability in the process of medical multimedia information processing. In addition, this paper constructs a medical multimedia information sharing and collaboration platform with medical multimedia information sharing and telemedicine as the core and verifies the effectiveness of the platform through experiments. The simulation results and comparison results with other systems prove that the system in this paper can realize fast data processing, retrieve and analyze massive data, and meet the demand of remote intelligent diagnosis under the premise of safety and stability. We report on the potential of today's LED technologies to approximate Spectral Power Distributions (SPDs) aimed at optimizing specific performance goals. We compare numerically optimal SPDs to actual SPDs produced by a 16-channel LED light source, aiming at optimizing performance for six different applications. In the three‐phase grid‐connected current‐source inverters (CSIs), the resonance result from the AC‐side CL filter and the quality of the grid‐current waveform under the unbalanced and harmonic grid voltage conditions are two issues deserving attention. To solve the two problems, a continuous control set‐model predictive control (CCS‐MPC) method based on the optimization theory is proposed in the two‐phase synchronous coordinate frame in this paper. The constructed cost function takes grid‐connected current and output current of the inverter as control target, and obtains its optimal solution under the least‐squares method, where the optimal inverter‐side current reference is composed of inductor‐current proportional feedback, capacitor‐voltage proportional feedback, and inverter‐side current steady‐state value feedforward. The proposed method can easily realize the normal operation of three‐phase grid‐connected CSIs because the method can be determined by only one parameter under the unbalanced and distorted grids. Furthermore, in the proposed method, the proportional feedback of capacitor voltage can effectively suppress the CL filter resonance. In this paper, a new human resource scheduling algorithm is proposed based on the optimization simulation of the human resource scheduling algorithm to find the most suitable human resource allocation scheme for different regions. A simulation system for human resource allocation is proposed, which integrates the scheduling algorithm of this paper and conducts simulation experiments using the historical data of enterprise problems in each region collected in a smart city. The simulation experiment proves that the dispatching algorithm in this paper is more reasonable than the current dispatching algorithm, and the relationship between enterprise problems and the number of employees is also found, and finally, the simulation system in this paper is proved to be stable through large-scale simulation experiment. To address the issue of multiobjective control in multienergy systems with diverse operational objectives, a two-stage optimization framework based on expected point tolerance has been proposed in this paper. In the first stage, a single objective function is used for optimization control to obtain the expected point of the multiobjective optimization problem. Then, in the second stage, by defining the allowable deviation between each optimization objective and the expected point, the original multiobjective optimization problem is transformed into a single objective optimization problem solution with tolerance measurement. Finally, in the simulation scene of a multienergy system, it is demonstrated that compared with the optimal results under each single objective method, the proposed method increases power line loss, maximum voltage deviation, new energy consumption, and economy by 2.22, 2.30, 1.02, and 2.45 times, respectively. Compared with the suboptimal results, the proposed method reduces power line loss by 22.26, 1.74, 1.09, and 0.97 times, respectively. Combining the shape of the Pareto frontier, it is demonstrated that the proposed method can comprehensively consider the needs of multiple power optimization objectives for forming a more reasonable and effective system optimization scheduling and also provide a new approach for solving multiobjective optimization problems. This paper presents a comparative analysis of bioinspired algorithms employed on a PV system subject to standard conditions, under step-change of irradiance conditions, and a partial shading condition for tracking the global maximum power point (GMPP). Four performance analysis and comparison techniques are artificial bee colony, particle swarm optimization, genetic algorithm, and a new metaheuristic technique called jellyfish optimization, respectively. These existing algorithms are well-known for tracking the GMPP with high efficiency. This paper compares these algorithms based on extracting GMPP in terms of maximum power from a PV module running at a uniform (STC), nonuniform solar irradiation (under step-change of irradiance), and partial shading conditions (PSCs). For analysis and comparison, two modules are taken: 1Soltech-1STH-215P and SolarWorld Industries GmbH Sunmodule plus SW 245 poly module, which are considered to form a panel by connecting four series modules. Comparison is based on maximum power tracking, total execution time, and minimum number of iterations to achieve the GMPP with high tracking efficiency and minimum error. Minitab software finds the regression equation (objective function) for STC, step-changing irradiation, and PSC. The reliability of the data (P-V curves) was measured in terms of p value, R, R 2 , and VIF. The R 2 value comes out to be near 1, which shows the accuracy of the data. The simulation results prove that the new evolutionary jellyfish optimization technique gives better results in terms of higher tracking efficiency with very less time to obtain GMPP in all environmental conditions, with a higher efficiency of 98 to 99.9% with less time of 0.0386 to 0.1219 sec in comparison to ABC, GA, and PSO. This paper presents a performance analysis and optimization of heat exchanger fin shapes in a thermoelectric power generation system for ship waste heat recovery. It proposes a new curved fin design aimed at enhancing heat transfer efficiency and maximizing thermoelectric power generation capacity. Numerical analysis and response surface methodology (RSM) focused on 225 parameters to identify the optimal fin shape. Computational analysis using CFX was conducted on the thermoelectric module system with curved fins. The methodology was verified by comparing and analyzing CFD and PIV experimental results for a curved fin. The paper comprehensively compares the fluid dynamics of curved fins and straight fins, highlighting how curved fins improve heat exchange by creating a tip leak vortex. In this paper, a 30 dB broadband microstrip directional coupler is designed by using a discrete coding type coupling structure with a co‐simulation technique. Combined with the proposed hybrid binary particle swarm genetic optimization algorithm (HBPSGOA) and the carefully designed fitness function, the discrete coding type structure can provide satisfactory flexibility and excellent performance. For a fixed design space, the discrete space can firstly be encoded and mapped to the corresponding coding matrix, and then the optimal coding matrix searched by HBPSGOA will be used to design a broadband coupler with high directivity. The effectiveness of the proposed HBPSGOA, binary particle swarm algorithm (BPSO), and genetic algorithm (GA) to design a discrete coding type coupler is tested. Experimental results prove that the HBPSGOA proposed in this paper has higher optimization efficiency. For the 30 dB broadband microstrip directional coupler designed in this paper, the center frequency is at 2 GHz and the fractional bandwidth is 39.4%. The minimum directivity of the designed coupler is 20 dB in the operating band and the maximum directivity is 39.3 dB at 1.9 GHz. Abstract: The objective of this paper is to analyze the adoption and outcomes of the ISO 14001 standard through a systematic review of the main studies on this issue published in peer‐reviewed journals between 1996 and 2015. The 94 papers analyzed make it possible to paint a comprehensive picture of the effectiveness of ISO 14001 in environmental management practices, performance in this area and social aspects such as employee awareness. The systematic review also sheds more light on the main pitfalls and success factors of the standard. Nevertheless, the similarities and even redundancies of the literature in terms of objectives, approaches and methods used tend to produce quite predictable and optimistic results, which do not reflect the complexity of the impact of ISO 14001. The paper highlights the importance of more diverse and critical approaches that might challenge the successful rhetoric of the dominant literature, which tends to focus on positive aspects and be limited to a few countries that are not representative of the wide international distribution of certification. In order to improve the autonomy and intelligence of group animation behavior, this paper proposes a particle swarm optimization algorithm for automatic control of group animation behavior. After the user inputs the group animation behavior construction target, the individual path is planned according to the fixed behavior rules, and the particle swarm optimization algorithm and the improved artificial fish swarm optimization algorithm are used to select the optimal action for the individual in the group animation according to the top-down control process. The experimental results show that after the PSO converges to the global optimal solution, the evolution times of the PSO converge to the global optimal solution again when the surrounding environment changes 10 times. The population diversity of particle swarm optimization algorithm is obviously better than those of the other two algorithms in the process of automatically controlling the movement of individuals to the circle and to the stand in the crowd animation. Compared with the original algorithm AFSA, the improved artificial fish swarm algorithm proposed in this paper is easier to obtain the global optimal value, and the optimization speed is also improved. Based on the theory and application, this paper discusses the optimization of art image segmentation algorithm based on FFNN (Feed Forward Neural Network). In this paper, residual units are used in the corresponding stages of encoder and decoder, and feature information of several convolution layers in each convolution stage of encoder is extracted at the same time. And the feature pyramid module is used to extract multiscale features from the feature map of the last convolution stage in the encoder. Finally, pixel by pixel additions combine the previously mentioned feature information into the corresponding layer of the decoder. Additionally, an improved weight adaptive algorithm based on feature preservation is suggested in this paper, which addresses the issue that the conventional image segmentation algorithm is noise-sensitive. The adaptive connection weight mechanism is also introduced. The accuracy and recall rates of this optimization algorithm can both reach 96.574%, according to the results of 50% cross-validation. All the segmentation performance evaluation indexes of this algorithm are higher than the existing main algorithms. Moreover, the algorithm takes a short time, does not need too much manual intervention, and can effectively segment artistic images. The results show that compared with the traditional genetic algorithm, the accuracy of the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is improved by 10.36%. As an important system in the national defense and military information construction, the command, control, communication, and intelligence (C3I) system urgently needs to establish an adaptive process to deal with the dynamic operating environment and changeable task requirements to ensure the long-term effective and stable operation of the system. Therefore, this paper presents an adaptive decision method based on parallel computing and optimization theory. This method combines operational requirements and commander preference to achieve the parallel adaptive decision solution. The integrated energy microgrid (IEM) has good potential for both active and reactive power regulation, which are gradually becoming critical resources for participating in power system ancillary services. This paper constructs a distributed optimization model for the IEMs participating in voltage regulation ancillary services by considering multiple physical network constraints. To reduce computational complexity, the DistFlow power flow model and the second‐order cone relaxation method are introduced to transform the optimization model into a second‐order cone programming problem. Moreover, an improved accelerated consensus alternating direction method of multipliers algorithm is proposed to accelerate distributed optimization solutions of the model while protecting user privacy. As aircraft electrification advances, permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) require higher power density and efficiency, but optimisation is hindered by high computational costs and resource consumption. To address this, the paper proposes a multi‐objective optimisation method based on adaptive sampling radial basis function (ASRBF). The ASRBF algorithm adaptively adds sample points by estimating expected improvements at prediction points, enabling the surrogate model to rapidly approximate the global optimum while significantly reducing function evaluations. It integrates optimisation objectives and constraints using probabilistic improvement techniques, enhancing robustness and convergence speed by avoiding excessive exploration of invalid regions. Mathematical test functions validate ASRBF's excellent performance in handling complex objective domains. Applied to high‐speed PMSM with hollow conductors, it aims to minimise AC losses while maximising slot fill factor and heat dissipation, resulting in a 15% reduction in losses and an increase in conductor heat dissipation area and slot fill factor, at one‐thousandth of the cost of the full factorial optimisation method. Mixed potential theory is frequently employed for analysing large‐disturbance stability. The precision of the current stability criterion for DC microgrids controlled by virtual DC motors (VDCM), which relies on mixed potential theory, is inadequate. This is primarily because the criterion does not account for the control parameters of the DC bus voltage control link and the virtual DC motor link. To address these issues, the paper initially formulates the control aspect of the VDCM using a controlled current source. Subsequently, it derives the system's mixed potential function from the model, enabling the development of a stability criterion that includes the control parameters of the DC bus voltage control link, the virtual DC motor link, and the current tracking link. It also clarifies how parameters not directly included in the criterion affect system stability. Through simulations and experimental validations, it is demonstrated that the proposed stability criterion effectively captures the impact of control parameters on system stability and precisely delineates the system's power stability boundary, offering insights for system parameter optimization. With the development of distributed energy resources and intelligent energy management technologies, park‐level integrated energy systems (PIESs) are essential for multi‐energy flow conversion and utilization. However, coordinating the upstream energy sources, internal energy stations, distribution networks, and downstream loads within the PIES framework remains a challenge. Developing a station‐network coordinated planning scheme for PIES confronts challenges, such as overly complex models that are difficult to solve and the difficulty of implementing standard methods for medium and long‐term planning. This paper proposes a multi‐stage coordinated planning approach for PIES, containing energy stations, multi‐energy networks, and load aggregation nodes. The energy equipment and energy networks are precisely modelled to enhance the reliability of the planning scheme. The chance‐constrained programming (CCP) method is adopted to address uncertainties arising from renewable energy generation. Additionally, the improved big‐M method and second‐order cone (SOC) relaxation technique are utilized to manage non‐linear elements, transforming the model into a mixed‐integer second‐order cone programming (MISOCP) form to enhance solution efficiency. A case study illustrates that the proposed method enables effective allocation of equipment and networks, outperforming single‐stage planning by reducing investment costs, enhancing facility utilization rates, and facilitating renewable energy integration. This paper investigates the finite‐time H∞${{H}_\infty }$ fault detection problem for large‐scale power systems via the Markov jumping mechanism subject to unknown disturbances. The novel power system is described by a large‐scale system model, and the residual dynamic properties of unknown input signals and fault signals, including unknown disturbances and modelling errors, are obtained by reconstructing the system. Then, the energy norm indicators of the residual disturbance signal and fault signal are, respectively, selected to reflect their suppression effect on disturbance and sensitivity to faults. Moreover, the design of a fault detection observer is formulated as an optimisation problem. Based on Lyapunov theory and linear matrix inequalities (LMI), sufficient conditions for the designed fault detection observer solutions are given, and an optimisation design method is provided. Finally, the simulation results show that the optimised observer can detect the fault signal effectively and can contain the effect of unknown disturbances on the residuals within a given range when a fault occurs. To meet the strict requirement on whole chain of vaccine production, storage, transportation, and distribution, most researches have been done on cascade refrigeration systems to achieve high operation performance, while a research gap on the performance exploration of eco‐friendly refrigeration systems still exists. In this paper, a comprehensive thermodynamic model was established to analyze the operation performance of a pre‐cooled cascade refrigeration system with eco‐friendly refrigerants propane (R290) and ethane (R170). Based on the present thermodynamic model, the performance optimization on the R290‐R170 cascade refrigerator was made with considerations of degree of subcooling, degree of superheat, evaporation temperature, condensation temperature, cascade condensation temperature, and cascade temperature difference. Variations of the coefficient of performance, exergy destruction, and total exergy efficiency of the refrigeration cycle were analyzed. Two mathematical correlations yielding the optimal cascade condensation temperature and maximized coefficient of performance were developed by multilinear regression analysis. When the evaporation temperature is − 60°C, the maximized coefficient of performance and total exergy efficiency are 1.276 and 49.51%. This paper demonstrates the potential for improving the R290‐R170 cascade refrigeration system and furnishes the basis for further exploration on ultra‐low‐temperature refrigerators. The inconsistency of conformal array elements poses a huge challenge to pattern synthesis. Based on convex optimization theory, this paper proposes a novel directivity pattern synthesis method. It can maximize the directivity of dual‐polarized conformal arrays with a low dynamic range ratio (DRR). Firstly, the directivity function is presented under a dual‐polarized conformal array. Then the pattern synthesis based on maximizing directivity is summarized as a multiconstraint optimization problem. In addition, the DRR constraint is introduced to control the weight range. By using Taylor expansion, the problem is transformed into a convex optimization problem and solved iteratively. At present, the mainstream studies on route selection optimization at the railway station rarely considered the overall punctuality of the operation plans and the seizing route resource between shunting operation and train running, which can endanger the running safety and reduce the efficiency at the station. Therefore, this paper proposes an optimization method for the route selection under the integration of dispatching and control at the railway station. Firstly, the station‐type data structure, the route occupation conflict, and the operation task order were defined. Then, a 0‐1 programming model was constructed to minimize the total delay time and shorten the total travel time of all operations. Finally, a two‐stage solution algorithm based on depth‐first search algorithm and genetic algorithm was designed, and two actual cases of a technical station in China were designed. The instance verification results show that the algorithm can find the satisfactory route scheme in 250 iterations; different delay factors and travel coefficients will get different route schemes, which can provide decision support for dispatchers and operators to select routes. Through comparative analysis of algorithms, it is found that the two‐stage algorithm has higher solving efficiency than the individual depth‐first search algorithm and individual genetic algorithm. Rational scheduling of locomotive paths (the locus of the locomotive point in the train working diagram) is an important step in drawing a locomotive working diagram by a computer. But there are some problems in this process, such as the computer usually drawing a locomotive path that overlaps with another locomotive path (in the circumstances, the actual users of the locomotive working diagrams often misread the locomotive planning). At present, there are many studies about assigning sets of locomotives to each train in a preplanned train schedule; in contrast, the studies of visualizing the locomotive planning are relatively rare. Through investigating the locomotive working diagram users, this paper points out that the layout of locomotive paths should put the distance between lines being as large as possible and should put the number of the intersection between lines being as few as possible as the optimization aim which is based to solve the problem of the lines overlap or the problem of the lines beyond the margins for drawing the locomotive paths. This paper also builds the optimization model of locomotive working diagram layout. Based on determining the position of locomotive paths which can be delineated, a genetic algorithm is used to solve the optimizing model of locomotive working diagram layout in this paper. An example of a train working diagram with 36 trains is given at the end of the paper, which indicates that the optimization model of locomotive working diagram layout can better solve the problem of locomotive planning visualization. This paper introduces a novel type of floating machine gun that can be simplified as a self-balancing two-degree-of-freedom mechanical system with distinct vibration characteristics. The model accounts for intricate motion patterns and encompasses numerous potential influencing factors. Multifactor combination optimization of the system represents a pressing engineering challenge. After establishing a simulation model for the machine gun and validating it experimentally, seven factors were chosen as optimization variables. The maximum recoil displacement of the inner receiver (MRD) and the firing rate were chosen to be indicators. Orthogonal combinations and variance analyses were used, and the effects of multiple factors were analyzed using SPSS software; these processes led to a determination of the optimal combination. The results indicated that the piston cylinder pressure, the bi-directional buffer spring energy storage, and the inner receiver mass significantly affected the MRD. Furthermore, the automaton mass and the reset spring energy storage were found to substantially affect the firing rate. Careful analysis of the variance results facilitated the determination of the optimal combination of parameter values. Remarkably, the optimal combination chosen resulted in an MRD reduction of approximately 20.2% and a firing rate increase of approximately 26.6%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper presents a multistrategy fusion particle swarm optimization model for dynamic economic dispatching of renewable energy in distribution networks. The objective is to minimize active network losses and system voltage deviation while considering the integration of distributed energy sources and static reactive power compensators. The algorithm incorporates specific strategies, including a particle position change strategy based on the midpipeline convergence approach, a strategy for generating exploding particles near the optimal particles, and a particle velocity update strategy relying on the global optimal particle position. The inertia weights and particle position update methods of the simplified particle swarm optimization algorithm are also utilized. With the increasing integration of distributed energy resources (DERs) into distribution systems, the optimization of system operation has become complex, facing challenges such as inadequate consideration of market participants' benefits, poor computational efficiency, and data privacy concerns. This paper introduces the concept of a virtual power plant (VPP) as a solution for energy integration and management. To strike a balance between operational safety and the interests of market participants, a dual‐layer model is proposed. This model considers the benefits of both Distribution System Operators (DSO) and VPP, while also enhancing the consideration of distribution network constraints. The DSO considers AC optimal power flow and utilizes penalty functions to ensure network security in case of violations. To enhance computational efficiency and privacy, the paper presents the parameter‐sharing twin delayed deep deterministic policy gradient approach. This approach allows multiple intelligent agents to share a neural network model, effectively reducing the computational load. During the training process, only essential data is exchanged among the agents, ensuring the privacy of sensitive information. In this paper, the most common pepper noise in grayscale image noise is investigated in depth in the median filtering algorithm, and the improved median filtering algorithm, adaptive switching median filtering algorithm, and adaptive polar median filtering algorithm are applied to the OTSU algorithm. Two improved OTSU algorithms such as the adaptive switched median filter-based OTSU algorithm and the polar adaptive median filter-based OTSU algorithm are obtained. The experimental results show that the algorithm can better cope with grayscale images contaminated by pretzel noise, and the segmented grayscale images are not only clear but also can better retain the detailed features of grayscale images. A genetic algorithm is a kind of search algorithm with high adaptive, fast operation speed, and good global space finding ability, and it will have a good effect when applied to the threshold finding of the OTSU algorithm. However, the traditional genetic algorithm will fall into the local optimal solution in different degrees when finding the optimal threshold. The advantages of the two interpolation methods proposed in this paper are that one is the edge grayscale image interpolation algorithm using OTSU threshold adaptive segmentation and the other is the edge grayscale image interpolation algorithm using local adaptive threshold segmentation, which can accurately divide the grayscale image region according to the characteristics of different grayscale images and effectively improve the loss of grayscale image edge detail information and jagged blur caused by the classical interpolation algorithm. The visual effect of grayscale images is enhanced by selecting grayscale images from the standard grayscale image test set and interpolating them with bilinear interpolation, bucolic interpolation, NEDI interpolation, and FEOI interpolation for interpolation simulation validation. The subjective evaluation and objective evaluation, as well as the running time, are compared, respectively, showing that the method of this paper can effectively improve the quality of grayscale image interpolation. In order to improve the effect of agricultural machinery task scheduling, this paper starts from the perspective of multiobjective optimization to achieve task scheduling based on multiobjective particle swarm optimization algorithm. The position of each particle is a combination of resource options for each construction activity, and the displacement range and speed range of the particles are determined. Moreover, this paper uses the method of introducing an external storage library to store the current noninferior solutions and uses the adaptive grid method and the roulette selection method to select the global optimal solution of the particles. In addition, this paper proposes a task scheduling algorithm suitable for modern agricultural machinery based on the actual needs of current agricultural machinery task scheduling.
