Abstract

The article reports that Bio4Self, a European project to develop self-reinforced composites (SRPC) based on polylactic acid (PLA) fibres, has won the Global Bioplastics Award. It mentions that the the project has produced easily recyclable SRPC materials that are designed for high mechanical strength and rigidity with high temperature.
