ONE of my earliest football memories was going to Wembley as an eight-year-old to watch my team, Leicester, play in the 1969 FA Cup final. I travelled down on the train with my dad and grandad, unbelievably excited about my first trip to London, remember seeing my hero, Peter Shilton, in the Leicester goal, and cried all the way home after Manchester City beat us 1-0 to lift the Cup.
