Abstract
The article reports on a paper released by the International Crisis Group entitled "Central African Republic: Priorities of the Transition," which looks at the situation in Central African Republic (CAR) after a coup by the Seleka rebel coalition in March 2013. It explores the impact of the collapse of the state and the tensions between Christians and Muslims on the transition of CAR. Major findings of the paper, along with recommendations to address different issues, are provided.

Abstract
Information on papers discussed in the Elysée Summit for Peace and Security in Africa organized by the French government that held in Paris, France on December 7, 2013. Various issues discussed in the conference includes solidarity in country, inter-communal violence and poor humanitarian conditions in the Central African Republic (CAR). The meeting was attended by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
