Purpose: The purpose of this study, thermal radiation and viscous dissipation impacts on double diffusive convection on peristaltic transport of Williamson nanofluid due to induced magnetic field in a tapered channel is examined. The study of propulsion system is on the rise in aerospace research. In spacecraft technology, the propulsion system uses high-temperature heat transmission governed through thermal radiation process. This study will help in assessment of chyme movement in the gastrointestinal tract and also in regulating the intensity of magnetic field of the blood flow during surgery. Design/methodology/approach: The brief mathematical modelling, along with induced magnetic field, of Williamson nanofluid is given. The governing equations are reduced to dimensionless form by using appropriate transformations. Numerical technique is manipulated to solve the highly nonlinear differential equations. The roll of different variables is graphically analyzed in terms of concentration, temperature, volume fraction of nanoparticles, axial-induced magnetic field, magnetic force function, stream functions, pressure rise and pressure gradient. Findings: The key finding from the analysis above can be summed up as follows: the temperature profile decreases and concentration profile increases due to the rising impact of thermal radiation. Brownian motion parameter has a reducing influence on nanoparticle concentration due to massive transfer of nanoparticles from a hot zone to a cool region, which causes a decrease in concentration profile· The pressure rise enhances due to rising values of thermophoresis and thermal Grashof number in retrograde pumping, free pumping and copumping region. Originality/value: To the best of the authors' knowledge, a study that integrates double-diffusion convection with thermal radiation, viscous dissipation and induced magnetic field on peristaltic flow of Williamson nanofluid with a channel that is asymmetric has not been carried out so far. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of two-phase power law nanofluid on a curved arterial blood flow under the presence of ovelapped stenosis. Over the past couple of decades, the percentage of deaths associated with blood vessel diseases has risen sharply to nearly one third of all fatalities. For vascular disease to be stopped in its tracks, it is essential to understand the vascular geometry and blood flow within the artery. In recent scenarios, because of higher thermal properties and the ability to move across stenosis and tumor cells, nanoparticles are becoming a more common and effective approach in treating cardiovascular diseases and cancer cells. Design/methodology/approach: The present mathematical study investigates the blood flow behavior in the overlapped stenosed curved artery with cylinder shape catheter. The induced magnetic field and entropy generation for blood flow in the presence of a heat source, magnetic field and nanoparticle (Fe3O4) have been analyzed numerically. Blood is considered in artery as two-phases: core and plasma region. Power-law fluid has been considered for core region fluid, whereas Newtonian fluid is considered in the plasma region. Strongly implicit Stone's method has been considered to solve the system of nonlinear partial differential equations (PDE's) with 10–6 tolerance error. Findings: The influence of various parameters has been discussed graphically. This study concludes that arterial curvature increases the probability of atherosclerosis deposition, while using an external heating source flow temperature and entropy production. In addition, if the thermal treatment procedure is carried out inside a magnetic field, it will aid in controlling blood flow velocity. Originality/value: The findings of this computational analysis hold great significance for clinical researchers and biologists, as they offer the ability to anticipate the occurrence of endothelial cell injury and plaque accumulation in curved arteries with specific wall shear stress patterns. Consequently, these insights may contribute to the potential alleviation of the severity of these illnesses. Furthermore, the application of nanoparticles and external heat sources in the discipline of blood circulation has potential in the medically healing of illness conditions such as stenosis, cancer cells and muscular discomfort through the usage of beneficial effects. Purpose: This paper aims to simulate the steady laminar mixed convection incompressible viscous and electrically conducting hybrid nanofluid (CuO-Cu/blood) flow near the plane stagnation-point over a horizontal porous stretching sheet along with an external magnetic field and induced magnetic field effects that can be applicable in the biomedical fields like the flow dynamics of the micro-circulatory system and especially in drug delivery. Design/methodology/approach: The basic partial differential equations (PDEs) are altered to a set of dimensionless ordinary differential equations (ODEs) with the help of suitable similarity variables which are then solved numerically using bvp4c scheme from MATLAB. Inasmuch as validation results have shown a good agreement with previous reports, the present novel mass-based algorithm can be used in this problem with great confidence. Governing parameters are both nanoparticle masses, base fluid mass, empirical shape factor of both nanoparticles, suction/injection parameter, magnetic parameter, reciprocal magnetic Prandtl number, Prandtl number, heat source parameter, mixed convection parameter, permeability parameter and frequency ratio. The effect of these parameters on the flow and heat transfer characteristics of the problem is discussed in detail. Findings: It is shown that the use of CuO and Cu hybrid nanoparticles can reduce the hemodynamics effect of the capillary relative to pure blood case. Moreover, as the imposed magnetic field enhances, the velocity of the blood decreases. Besides, when the blade shapes for both nanoparticles are taken into account, the local heat transfer rate is maximum that is also compatible with experimental observations. Originality/value: An innovative mass-based model of CuO-Cu/blood hybrid nanofluid has been applied. The novel attitude to one-phase hybrid nanofluid model corresponds to considering nanoparticles mass as well as base fluid mass to computing the solid equivalent volume fraction, the solid equivalent density and also solid equivalent specific heat. Abstract In the present article focus has been on examining the effect of the induced magnetic field on stagnation point flow together with heat transfer of nanofluid. Keeping the industrial prospects of this study, ethylene glycol has been taken as the base fluid whose ability to conduct heat has been examined numerically in presence of nano-scaled particles of copper and titanium dioxide. The industrial fluid flow is considered towards a stretching cylinder. Cylindrical coordinates have been opted to for mathematical formulation of governing nonlinear system which has been simplified by means of similarity analysis. The computational procedure of shooting technique has been opted to tackle the transformed system. Results for velocity and magnetic field along with temperature distribution are computed by keeping the iterative error less than 6 decimals. Influence of emerging prominent parameters are discussed and displayed through graphs. Moreover, bar charts have been plotted for the skin friction coefficient and Nusselt number. The novel findings of current investigation include: the enhancement in ethylene glycol thermal conductivity because of titanium dioxide and copper nanoparticles. The improvement is significantly dominant in presence of titanium dioxide. It is also noted that the heat transfer mechanism notably relay upon nanoparticles shape and size. Moreover, blade-shaped copper particles contribute to the highest temperature and blade-shaped particles lead to maximum surface heat flux. In this work, the exact solution for fully developed magnetohydrodynamic natural convection flow of viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting fluid in vertical micro-porous-channel formed by electrically non-conducting infinite vertical parallel porous plates in presence of induced magnetic field is investigated. Effects of velocity slip and temperature jump conditions are taken into account due to their counter effects both on the volume flow rate and the rate of heat transfer. The governing coupled equations responsible for present physical situation are a set of simultaneous ordinary differential equations and their exact solutions in dimensionless form have been obtained for the velocity field, the induced magnetic field and the temperature field subject to the relevant boundary conditions. The expressions for the induced current density and skin friction at the micro-porous-channel surfaces are also obtained. A parametric study of some physical parameters is conducted and a representative set of numerical results for the velocity field, the induced magnetic field, temperature, induced current density, volume flow rate and skin friction are illustrated graphically to show interesting features of the suction/injection, rarefaction, fluid wall interaction, Hartmann number and the magnetic Prandtl number. Result reveals that, for a fixed value of the Hartmann number, the skin frictions at micro-porous-channel surfaces in the presence of induced magnetic field are higher compared to the case when the induced magnetic field is neglected. This paper examines the peristaltic flow of Williamson nanofluid in an annulus in the presence of induced magnetic field. Present problem is determined under the molds of long wavelength and low Reynolds number approximation. This theoretical problem can be considered as a mathematical illustration to the movement of fluids in the presence of an endoscope or catheter tube. The inner cylinder is rigid, whereas the outward cylinder proceeds a sinusoidal wave moving down its walls. The analytical solution is obtained by using Homotopy perturbation method. Mathematica numerical simulations are adopted to calculate frictional forces and pressure rise. Behavior of various physical parameters is presented through graphs. It is found that induced magnetic field and current density enhance by increasing value of magnetic Reynolds number. Purpose This paper aims to investigate the consequence of the combined impacts of an induced magnetic field and thermal radiation on peristaltic transport of a Carreau nanofluid in a vertical tapered asymmetric channel. The model applied for the nanofluid comprises the effects of Brownian motion and thermophoresis.Design/methodology/approach The governing equations have been simplified under the widespread assumption of long-wavelength and low-Reynolds number approximations. The reduced coupled nonlinear equations of momentum and magnetic force function have also been solved analytically using the regular perturbation method.Findings The physical features of emerging parameters have been discussed by drawing the graphs of velocity, temperature, nanoparticle concentration profile, magnetic force function, current density, heat transfer coefficient and stream function. Aiming at the problem of a magnetorquercaused magnetic interference to magnetic cleanliness platform，a method for evaluation and control of magnetorquer caused on-orbit magnetic interference is proposed in this paper. According to both size and characteristics of working magnetic field, induced magnetic field and residual magnetic field produced by the magnetorquerthe control measure of magnetic interference is proposed and the optimal solution of application of the magnetorquerin the magnetic cleanliness platform is summarized by means of various tests and analytical research. The results show that the magnetic interference caused by magnetorquer is effectively controlled and key technical problems of magnetic interference are resolved for the engineering application. Abstract: The effect of an induced magnetic field on peristaltic flow of an incompressible Carreau fluid in an asymmetric channel is analyzed. Perturbation solution to equations under long wavelength approximation is derived in terms of small Weissenberg number. Expressions have been constructed for the stream function, the axial induced magnetic field, the magnetic force function, the current density distribution and the temperature.
