Abstract

A recent report from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine discusses the potential mechanism of a Chinese herbal prescription, Modified Shen-Yan-Fang-Shuai formula (M-SYFSF), in treating diabetic nephropathy (DN). The researchers used network pharmacological analysis and biological experiments to investigate the effects of M-SYFSF on DN. The results showed that M-SYFSF reduced inflammation in DN by inhibiting the MAPK pathway. This research provides a theoretical basis for the clinical application of M-SYFSF in the treatment of DN.
