The explosion of data scale makes data processing encounter many difficulties and challenges. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the group computing task assignment and correlation analysis of big data technology. This paper designs and proposes an algorithm for task assignment in big data sets, which is based on the user's exact perception of a topic and aims to improve the accuracy of calculation. This algorithm is first able to effectively combine the topic accurate perception and extraction model with adaptive fuzzy clustering, and then it can be done by building a model that focuses on specific target groups and users, and calculating the degree between them. The experimental results of this paper show that the accuracy of the music dataset is relatively low, averaging 50%; for the compilation of thematic data sets, the accuracy rate is high, averaging 70%; the final task assignment accuracy reaches 79.9%.

AbstractCancer is among the leading causes of death in the world, with about 10 million deaths, one in every six deaths, related to cancer in 2020. In Taiwan, cancer insurance is the most popular commercial health product. However, the loss ratio of cancer products increases with policy year and exceeds 100% in many insurance companies. In addition, almost all cancer benefits are significantly limited in order to avoid financial insolvency. In this study, we evaluate the risk of cancer insurance from the perspective of morbidity compression. We use the data from Taiwan's National Health Insurance Research Database. Also, we apply the standardized mortality ratio and the Lee-Carter model to estimate the trend of cancer-related values. We find that cancer incidence rates gradually increase with time, which indicates that the assumption of morbidity compression is violated. On the other hand, the mortality rates of cancer patients decrease significantly annually. Thus, length of life with cancer increases, and so does the cancer insurance premium. We suggest that cancer insurance covers only the first five years of medical expenditure after the insured is diagnosed with cancer.

Short-reach communication systems use electro-optic transmission engines based on low-voltage, wide bandwidth modulators to achieve high capacity and low power operation. Here, we demonstrate, for the first time, integration of a 4-channel array of surface-normal electroabsorption modulators (SNEAMs) with a 4-channel array of electronic drivers with low output voltage (~1.25-1.45 Vpp). We use this 4-channel SNEAM-driver array electro-optic engine to demonstrate $4 \times 53$ Gbit/s non-return-to-zero on-off-keying transmission across up to 2 km of standard single mode fiber over a broad wavelength range (about 26 nm), the widest band of operation achieved with SNEAMs. Integration of a SNEAM array with a low output voltage driver array, a result that we achieved thanks to the use of SNEAMs that operate with low voltage swings, represents a fundamental milestone toward the realization of optical modules based on SNEAMs.

Originally, the Taiwan Fellowship Act was its own freestanding bill, aiming to establish a government exchange program between the United States and Taiwan modeled after the Mansfield Fellowship, which has established a similar program in Japan. On September 15, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee overwhelmingly approved the Taiwan Policy Act for further review by the U.S. Senate. In this paper, an OFDM baseband receiver for DVB-T/H is presented. The receiver contains four synchronizations, an OFDM symbol synchronization, a carrier synchronization, a sampling clock synchronization and a scattered pilots synchronization. This paper proposes several novel designs to reduce the synchronization latency and hardware complexity. The carrier and clock synchronization loops are fully digitalized schemes. The scattered pilots synchronization adopts a two stages scheme to reduce the detection latency. In addition, the pre-filling scheme reduces the latency of channel estimation. The design result shows that the equivalent gate count is about 810K gates including 102.8KB memory. Index Terms--OFDM, Synchronization, DVB

This work proposes a jointed mode detection and symbol detection scheme for DVB-T. To reduce hardware complexity, the division operation of normalized maximum correlation (NMC) is removed and the delay line which uses twisted memory access method lowers the hardware cost. In addition, the proposed detection procedure does not need to refill or replenish the received data samples; as the result, the longest latency of the detection is only 17280 samples and is comparable with the parallel method. To lower the hardware cost, the memory is released for channel estimation after completing the Mode/GI detection and symbol detection. Research on the effect of congruity between an ad's message and its background music on consumer memory indicates that ad music that is congruent with an ad's message can enhance the consumer's memory of the ad. Based on Heckler and Childers' (1992) study on the nature of incongruity, we suggest that cultural tone incongruity between an ad's message and its music can also lead to better ad memory. We demonstrate that East/West cultural tone incongruity between an ad's message and its music does increase the consumer's memory for the target ad, but it can also have an adverse effect on consumers' attitudes towards the ad. This memory enhancement effect is stronger for high-attention respondents than for low-attention respondents. Moreover, the incongruity also leads to retroactive memory interference for the ad that immediately precedes the target ad. However, the predicted effect of proactive memory interference for the ad following the target ad was not found. Finally, the academic and managerial implications of the study for global product advertising are discussed.

Surface-normal electroabsorption modulators (SNEAMs) are appealing for short-reach communication systems because of their outstanding properties, such as ultrawide bandwidth and polarization-insensitive response; however, due to their small active volumes, large voltage swings are typically required to obtain the best performance. Here we propose and demonstrate a novel, to the best of our knowledge, design that dramatically reduces the voltage needed by SNEAMs and significantly increases their extinction ratio. By shrinking the multiple quantum well stack of SNEAMs to the minimum and by optimizing their reflectivity with dielectric coatings of suitable refractive index and thickness, we obtain modulators that require drive voltages of only 1−2V_pp. We show that these novel devices largely outperform conventional SNEAMs.

In‐air gesture recognition using wireless signals acts as a key enabler for various applications including smart homes, remote healthcare, shared autopilot, etc.Although researchers have conducted extensive research on WiFi‐based gesture recognition, it remains an open question of providing accurate, robust, and in‐time recognition system with the commodity WiFi infrastructure. We present FaSee, a just‐in‐time WiFi‐based gesture recognition system by identifying the fine‐grained Channel state information (CSI) features upon off‐the‐shelf WiFi devices. The core of FaSee is essentially a novel hybrid recognition algorithm, which combines the classical K‐Means algorithm with Dynamic time warping (DTW) together, to transform the feature matching in traditional gesture recognition schemes into a hierarchical manner, thereby significantly improving the recognition efficiency. Experimental results show that FaSee recognizes 9 representative gestures with an average accuracy of 94.75% without tedious per‐person training, while achieving 30% signal processing delay saving when compared with the state‐of‐the‐arts gesture recognition schemes.

The optimal duration of dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) as a routine treatment in stroke patients is still controversial. The efficacy and safety of DAPT may vary with different regiments, initiating treatment time and race. Our study assessed the efficacy and safety of DAPT in patients with stroke and to determine the factors influencing the efficacy and safety of DAPT. Relevant studies published up to May 2019 from PubMed, Embase, Web of Science and the Cochrane Library. Randomized controlled trials comparing DAPT with mono antiplatelet therapy (MAPT) for stroke secondary prevention were included. The primary endpoints were stroke recurrence, ischemic stroke recurrence and all-cause death. Subgroup analysis was made according to regiment, initiating treatment time and race. Eighteen studies (n=33353) were included. Comparing with MAPT, short-term DAPT reduced stroke recurrence (RR = 0.68, 95% CI = 0.60-0.77) and ischemic stroke recurrence (RR = 0.67, 95% CI = 0.59-0.77) but increased major bleeding (RR = 1.82, 95% CI = 1.11-2.98). Long-term DAPT had no superiority compared with MAPT. Aspirin plus clopidogrel comparing with aspirin and early initiating treatment time comparing with MAPT decreased stroke recurrence (RR = 0.74, 95% CI = 0.67-0.83; RR = 0.69, 95% CI = 0.61-0.78) and ischemic stroke recurrence ( RR = 0.71, 95% CI = 0.64-0.79; RR = 0.68, 95% CI = 0.59-0.77) but also increased major bleeding (RR = 1.70, 95% CI = 1.38-2.09; RR = 1.75, 95% CI = 1.07-2.85). DAPT reduced stroke and ischemic stroke recurrence in non-Asian group but only reduced ischemic stroke recurrence in Asian group. As stroke secondary prevention, short-term DAPT rather than long-term DAPT could be a better choice. Patients could benefit more from aspirin plus clopidogrel or given DAPT within 72 h after symptoms onset. Race may be a factor influencing the efficacy of DAPT.

An equivalent electric circuit is exploited for interpreting the dynamic behavior of a photovoltaic (PV) panel based on the commonly used one-diode model with an additional parasitic capacitance. By drawing rippled currents from the PV panel with a boost converter, the circuit parameters of the model can be obtained simply from a few test points without the need of the intrinsic parameters of the PV panel given by datasheets. Experimental tests are carried out on a laboratory system to demonstrate the capability of simulating the dynamic responses of a PV panel with the derived circuit parameters.

Tectonic tremor in Taiwan is known for its short duration and weak amplitude. Recent observations from the mountain area (Central Range) allows us to document such type of tectonic tremor recorded at a close distance and to investigate a single station technique for a minute‐long tremor. To effectively distinguish tremor from earthquakes and noise, we applied the Fisher's class separability criterion to automatically select the optimal feature subset from a set of commonly adopted feature candidates. During the study period of 1 January to 16 September 2016 when a local seismic array was deployed, we successfully differentiated tremor from local earthquakes and noise with high accuracy of 86.6% to 98.9% from three stations using a k‐nearest neighbors classifier. Other than the maximum amplitude, number of peaks, and energy of the 2‐ to 8‐Hz passband, the spikiness of discrete Fourier transforms median in time is also found to be important to separate tremor from noise. Baicalin is the main flavonoid from the roots of an important medicinal plant, Scutellaria baicalensis, which shows a variety biological activities. Psoriasis is a chronic immune-mediated inflammatory disease that affects the skin. The unmet need of psoriasis is that many patients do not respond adequately to available clinical treatment. In this study, we found that baicalin showed inhibited dermal inflammation in a murine model of psoriasis via topical application of imiquimod. After a 5-day topical imiquimod application, baicalin or the control vehicle cream was to applied to the lesions of BALB/c mice for a further 4 days. The erythema, scaling, and thickness of the epidermal layer significantly improved in the baicalin-treated mice. The levels of interleukin-17A, interleukin-22, interleukin-23, and tumor necrosis factor in the skin significantly decreased after baicalin treatment. Baicalin also inhibited imiquimod-induced interleukin-17A production in skin draining lymph node cells. The infiltration of γδ T cells into the skin lesions induced by imiquimod was also suppressed after baicalin treatment. These results suggest that baicalin inhibited skin inflammation through the inhibition of the interleukin-17/interleukin-23 axis in a murine model of psoriasis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Extra‐tropical cyclones are an important source of weather variability in the mid‐latitudes. Multiple occurrences in a short period of time at a particular location are denominated serial cyclone clustering (SCC), and potentially lead to large societal impacts. We investigate the relationship between SCC affecting Western Europe and large‐scale weather regimes (WRs) in the North Atlantic‐European region in boreal winter. We find that SCC in low latitudes (45°N) is predominantly associated with the anticyclonic Greenland Blocking WR. In contrast, SCC in mid and high latitudes (55°N, 65°N) is mostly linked to different cyclonic WRs. Thereby, SCC occurs typically within a well‐established WR that builds up prior to SCC and decays after SCC. Thus, SCC events are closely associated with recurrent, quasi‐stationary and persistent large‐scale flow patterns (WRs). This mutual relationship reveals the potential of WRs in forecasting storm series and associated impacts on sub‐seasonal to seasonal time scales. Serial cyclone clustering describes the occurrence of multiple extra‐tropical cyclones within a certain time frame and a spatially restricted region. Since extra‐tropical cyclones can be associated with strong winds and heavy precipitation, multiple occurrences can lead to large cumulative impacts in the affected areas. We analyze the relationship between serial cyclone clustering (SCC) in Western Europe and so‐called weather regimes (WRs) in the North Atlantic‐European region in boreal winter. These regimes describe slow evolving and enduring large‐scale atmospheric circulation patterns. Relationships with certain regime types are identified but depend on the latitude at which the clustered frequency of extra‐tropical cyclones is found. When SCC occurs in low latitudes (45°N), it mostly appears coincident with anticyclonic large‐scale flow patterns. In contrast, SCC in mid and high latitudes (55°N, 65°N) often occurs simultaneously with different cyclonic regimes. We find that periods of SCC occur typically within WR life cycles pointing to the fact that both, the WRs and SCC periods, are interlinked. This relationship may facilitate forecasting storm series and associated impacts on time scales beyond 2 weeks. Endometrial stromal tumors are rare uterine tumors (<1%). Four main categories include endometrial stromal nodule, low-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma (LG-ESS), high-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma (HG-ESS), and uterine undifferentiated sarcoma (UUS). This review is a series of articles discussing the uterine sarcomas. LG-ESS, a hormone-dependent tumor harboring chromosomal rearrangement, is an indolent tumor with a favorable prognosis, but characterized by late recurrences even in patients with Stage I disease, suggesting the requirement of a long-term follow-up. Patients with HG-ESS, based on the identification of YWHAE-NUTM2A/B(YWHAE-FAM22A/B) gene fusion, typically present with advanced stage diseases and frequently have recurrences, usually within a few years after initial surgery. UUS is, a high-grade sarcoma, extremely rare, lacking a specific line of differentiation, which is a diagnosis of exclusion (the wastebasket category, which fails to fulfill the morphological and immunohistochemical criteria of translocation-positive ESS). Surgery is the main strategy in the management of uterine sarcoma. Due to rarity, complex biological characteristics, and unknown etiology and risk factors of uterine sarcomas, the role of adjuvant therapy is not clear. Only LG-ESS might respond to progestins or aromatase inhibitors.

A robust control approach for permanent magnet linear synchronous motor servo drive is presented in this work. First, the nonlinear motor dynamics is described in the stationary reference frame instead of the d–qaxis synchronous rotating reference frame. Then, a backstepping control technique is employed to the systematic analysis and design of the drive system. To ensure satisfactory performance of the position control, an adaptive fuzzy neural network is introduced to deal with the uncertain dynamics. The online adaptation law is deduced by using the Lyapunov functional method so that the asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system is guaranteed. In contrast to the conventional current vector control strategy, this work develops a voltage control scheme via a complete theoretic derivation, which considers both the mechanical and electrical dynamics of motor’s behavior. Moreover, the proposed control algorithm performs without using the Park and inverse Park coordinate transformations, and the computation efficiency can be improved as a result. Finally, the practical experiment and a comparison study with the conventional current control approach are carried out to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.

Uterine sarcomas account for 3–7% of all uterine cancers. Because of their rarity, unknown etiology, and highly divergent genetic aberration, there is a lack of consensus on risk factors for occurrence and predictive poor outcomes as well as optimal therapeutic choices. Tumor types according to the World Health Organization classification include leiomyosarcoma, endometrial stroma sarcoma, and undifferentiated sarcoma. Staging is done using the 2014 Federation International Gynecology and Obstetrics and 2010 American Joint Committee on Cancer tumor, lymph node, and metastases systems. Tumor grade can be classified based on the French Federation of Cancer Centers Sarcoma Group system or the Broder’s system that incorporates tumor differentiation, mitotic count, and tumor necrosis. This review is a series of articles discussing uterine sarcoma, and this is Part I, which focuses on one of the subtypes of uterine sarcomas—uterine leiomyosarcoma. The clinical characteristics, diagnosis, outcome, and recent advances are summarized in this article.

A novel approach of making a biomimetic nerve conduit was established by seeding adipose-derived adult stem cells (ADSCs) on the external wall of porous poly(D, L-lactic acid) (PLA) nerve conduits. The PLA conduits were fabricated using gas foaming salt and solvent–nonsolvent phase conversion. We examined the effect of two different porous structures (GS and GL) on ADSC growth and proliferation. The GS conduits had better structural stability, permeability, and porosity, as well as better cell viability at 4, 7, and 10 days. The epineuriallike tissue was grown from ADSC-seeded conduits cultured for 7 days in vitro and then implanted into 10-mm rat sciatic nerve defects for evaluation. The regeneration capacity and functional recovery were evaluated by histological staining, electrophysiology, walking track, and functional gait analysis after 6 weeks of implantation. Experimental data indicated that the autograft and ADSC-seeded GS conduits had better functional recovery than the blank conduits and ADSC-seeded GL conduits. The area of regenerated nerve and number of myelinated axons quantified based on the histology also indicated that the autograft and AGS groups performed better than the other two groups. We suggested that ADSCs may interact with endogenous Schwann cells and release neurotrophic factors to promote peripheral nerve regeneration. The design of the conduit may be critical for producing a biohybrid nerve conduit and to provide an epineurial-like support.

The cellular uptake of nanoparticles (NPs) can be promoted by NP surface modification but cell viability is often sacrificed. Our previous study has shown that intracellular uptake of iron oxide NPs was significantly increased for cells cultured on chitosan. However, the mechanism for having the higher cellular uptake as well as better cell survival on the chitosan surface remains unclear. In this study, we sought to clarify if the autophagic response may contribute to cell survival under excessive NP exposure conditions on chitosan. L929 fibroblasts and neural stem cells (NSCs) were challenged with different concentrations (0–300 μg ml−1) of superparamagnetic iron oxide NPs. The autophagic response as well as the metabolic activity of cells was evaluated. Results showed that culturing both types of cells on chitosan substrates significantly enhanced the cellular uptake of NPs. At higher NP concentrations, cells on chitosan showed a greater survival rate than those on TCPS. The expression levels of autophagy-related genes (Atg5 and Atg7 genes) and autophagy associated protein (LC3-II) on chitosan were higher than that on TCPS. The NP exposure further increased the expressions. We suggest that cells cultured on chitosan were more tolerant to NP cytotoxicity because of the increased autophagic response. Moreover, NP exposure increased the metabolic activity of cells grown on chitosan, while it decreased the metabolism of cells cultured on TCPS. In animal studies, iron oxide-labeled NSCs were injected in zebrafish embryos. Results also showed that cells grown on chitosan had better survival after transplantation than those grown on TCPS. Taken together, chitosan as a culture substrate can induce cell autophagy to increase cell survival in particular for NP-labeled cells. This will be valuable for the biomedical application of NPs in cell therapy.

Caffeoylquinic acid (CQA) derivatives are known to possess antioxidative potential and have many beneficial effects on human health. The present study compared the CQA contents and antioxidant activities of aerial parts of sweet potato plants. The effects of drying methods (freeze drying, and drying at 30°C, 70°C, and 100°C) on these two parameters of the first fully expanded leaves were also assessed. The results indicated that the CQA derivatives were detectable in leaves, stem, and flowers of sweet potato plants (varied from 39.34 mg/g dry weight to 154.05 mg/g dry weight), with the leaves (particularly expanding and first fully expanded leaves) containing more CQA derivatives than other aerial plant parts. The expanding and first fully expanded leaves also exhibited greater antioxidant activities than other aerial plant parts, possibly due to their higher contents of CQA derivatives. Drying method significantly affected the content of CQA derivatives in dried sweet potato leaf tissues. Drying treatments at both 70°C and 100°C significantly reduced the CQA derivative content and antioxidant activity in the first fully expanded leaves. Among the tested drying methods, the freeze-drying method demonstrated the preservation of the highest amount of CQA derivatives (147.84 mg/g) and antioxidant property. However, 30°C cool air drying was also a desirable choice (total CQA derivative content was reduced to only 129.52 mg/g), compared to 70°C and 100°C hot air drying, for commercial-scale processing of sweet potato leaves, if the higher operation cost of freeze drying was a major concern.

This study investigates the seasonality of near‐surface wind speeds associated with extratropical cyclones (ETCs) over northeastern North America using a global reanalysis data set during 1979–2020. As opposed to most studies that emphasize winter storms, ETCs during the fall exhibit significantly stronger 10‐m winds over this region due to the slightly stronger continental cyclones and significantly weaker low‐level stability during that time of the year. Also, ETCs favor inland lakes and Hudson Bay during the low‐ice‐content fall season, leading to lower surface roughness. Combining these results, we derive simple linear regressions to predict the 10‐m wind speed given three variables: 850‐hPa wind speed, low‐level Richardson number, and surface roughness length. This formula captures the observed seasonality and serves as a valuable tool for cyclone near‐surface wind risk assessment. Extratropical cyclones can bring powerful winds that can cause severe damage to infrastructure. We find that cyclones with severe winds are the most frequent in the fall season over continental northeastern North America. Three reasons are found responsible: stronger continental cyclones, weaker low‐level atmospheric stability, and the lower surface roughness over lakes and Hudson Bay, where cyclones frequently occur in fall. A simple formula that can effectively assess the near‐surface wind speeds associated with cyclones is derived based on these results. Several studies have reported the therapeutic use of caffeoylquinic acid (CQA) derivatives in the management of hyperglycemia. This study used a simulated in vitrogastrointestinal digestion model to assess the inhibitory effects of CQA derivatives-rich sweet potato leaf extract (SPLE) and a commercially produced green coffee bean extract (GCBE), each with total polyphenols contents of 452 mg g−1and 278 mg g−1, respectively, against starch digestion. The changes in the amounts of total polyphenols and total CQA derivatives during in vitrogastrointestinal digestion were also examined. The results indicated that both extracts contained substantial levels of CQA derivatives (136 mg g−1and 83.5 mg g−1of extract for SPLE and GCBE, respectively). The amounts of total polyphenols and total CQA derivatives in 20 mg of SPLE and GCBE samples decreased from 9.04 mg to 0.58 mg and from 5.56 mg to 0.58 mg, and from 2.72 mg to 0.16 mg and from 1.67 mg to 0.10 mg, respectively, following in vitrogastrointestinal digestion and subsequent dialysis. When SPLE and GCBE were accompanied with starch for in vitrodigestion test, they both exhibited inhibitory effect against starch digestion during simulated intestinal digestion, with estimated half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) values of 4.91 mg and 6.06 mg polyphenols, respectively. The amount of glucose permeated through dialysis membrane also decreased significantly in comparison with the extract-negative control. Thus, both SPLE and GCBE were capable of modulating the release of glucose from starch digestion in simulated intestinal tract. The observed inhibitory effects against glucose release were presumably due in part to the presence of CQA derivatives in the tested extracts. The SPLE had higher inhibitory effect against in vitrostarch digestion than the commercially prepared reference GCBE. Therefore, the SPLE might be used to manage hyperglycemia over the long term.

In this paper, a detection and estimation scheme and its architecture design for synchronization in 60 GHz indoor wireless transmission are presented. With the complementary Golay sequence based preamble structure, the proposed synchronization scheme is designed to detect the preamble and symbol boundary, estimate the frequency offset within a unified architecture. For the very high sampling speed at 60 GHz transmission, the architecture is designed as 8\times-parallelism with feed-forward data path. This architecture supports the single carrier (SC) and orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) transmissions of both IEEE 802.15.3c and IEEE 802.11ad standards. The synchronization module is implemented as a part of a digital baseband receiver for IEEE 802.15.3c. The tolerance of maximum frequency offset is about 114.58 ppm and 171.87 ppm for SC and OFDM mode, respectively. The implementation result shows that it takes about 0.84 mm^2 of area (equivalent to 307 k gate counts). The power consumption is about 59 mW in SC mode and 96 mW in OFDM (HSI) mode when operating at 1.76 GHz and 2.64 GHz chip rate, respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Baicalein and pentamethyl-hydroxychromane (PMC) have been investigated for use as antioxidants. However, antioxidants may stimulate free radical formation under certain conditions. The aim of our study was to determine whether PMC and baicalein exhibit both pro-oxidant and antioxidant activities in human promyelocytic leukemia (HL-60) cells. In this study, electron spin resonance spectrometry was used to investigate the effects of baicalein and PMC on free radical formation. In HL-60 cells, baicalein and PMC produced hydroxyl and phenoxyl radicals, respectively, but each inhibited radical formation by the other. The PMC pro-oxidant activity required H2O2, whereas baicalein produced hydroxyl radicals during the cell resting state only. The antioxidant effect of baicalein on PMC-induced oxidative stress in HL-60 cells may involve myeloperoxidase inhibition, which produces the myeloperoxidase-protein radical. Our investigation of the antioxidant effects of baicalein on arachidonic acid (AA)-induced oxidative stress in HL-60 cells showed that the baicalein-phenoxyl radical was the primary product, and that either carbon-centered or acyl radicals were the secondary products. However, the antioxidant effects of PMC on AA-induced oxidative stress produced only nonradical products. In conclusion, we showed that baicalein displayed both pro-oxidant and antioxidant activities in HL-60 cells. PMC exhibited no pro-oxidant activity during the cells' resting state but produced the PMC-phenoxyl radical in the presence of H2O2.The reaction of baicalein with AA in HL-60 cells produced baicalein-derived phenoxyl radicals that may initiate various pro-oxidative reactions. However, PMC does not produce radicals when it acts as an antioxidant. Thus, PMC is more beneficial as an antioxidant than baicalein.

In this paper, a digital time domain equalizer (TDE) for 60 GHz radio frequency transmission systems is presented. Significantly, the TDE supports both single carrier (SC) and orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) operation modes for digital baseband receiver. In order to improve the performance, the proposed TDE adopts Golay sequence aided one-shot channel estimation and modified multi-path interference cancellation (MPIC) equalization. Targeting on the line-of-sight (LOS) channel characteristic, MPIC is simplified with single-tap for complexity reduction. From the area efficiency point of view, both SC and OFDM modes are designed within a single hardware to yield 99% of area sharing. The Golay-MPIC TDE structure is realized as feed-forward data path with 8X-parallelism to achieve 2.64 GS/s at 330 MHz clock rate. The Golay-MPIC TDE is fabricated as a part of a digital baseband with 65 nm 1P9M general purpose process. The area of Golay-MPIC TDE occupies 1.05 mm^2 with 405 K gate counts. Besides, the power dissipations for SC and ODFM modes are 56.71 mW@220 MHz (1 V) and 91.29 mW@330 MHz (1.1 V), respectively. Disease X is a hypothetical unknown disease that has the potential to cause an epidemic or pandemic outbreak in the future. Nanosensors are attractive portable devices that can swiftly screen disease biomarkers on site, reducing the reliance on laboratory-based analyses. However, conventional data analytics limit the progress of nanosensor research. In this Perspective, we highlight the integral role of machine learning (ML) algorithms in advancing nanosensing strategies toward Disease X detection. We first summarize recent progress in utilizing ML algorithms for the smart design and fabrication of custom nanosensor platforms as well as realizing rapid on-site prediction of infection statuses. Subsequently, we discuss promising prospects in further harnessing the potential of ML algorithms in other aspects of nanosensor development and biomarker detection.

Wide swath SAR (WSM) has some characters such as wider swath and short interval so that it can be applied widely to monitor deformation, especially it has largo foreground for monitoring slowness deformation.Depessing baseline and DEM error is a key choke point for ScanSAR interferometry.In this paper, ScanSAR imaging principle and error elements are analyzed, in allusion to wide swath SAR interferogram of bam earthquake, influence magnitude of SRTM3 and GDEM for ScanSAR interferometry is compared each other.,at the same time, results of ScanSAR interferometry which use Envisat orbit data ofthree different kinds are studied, in the end ,some referenced and important conclusions are gained.
