The purpose of this paper is to study convergence of a newly defined modified S-iteration process to a common fixed point of two asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive type mappings in the setting of CAT(0) space. We give a suffcient condition for convergence to a common fixed point and establish some strong convergence theorems for the said iteration process and mappings under suitable conditions. Our results extend and improve many known results from the existing literature.

The purpose of this paper is to establish a common random fixed point theorem by using Ciric quasi contraction for two random operators in the framework of cone random metric spaces and also to obtain some random fixed point results as corollaries. Our results extend and generalize the corresponding recent result from the current existing literature.

In this paper, we study multi-step random iteration scheme with errors for a common random fixed point of a finite family of nonself asymptotically nonexpansive random mappings in real uniformly convex separable Banach spaces. The results presented in this paper extend the recent ones announced by Zhou and Wang [23] and many others.

The validity of an isotropic model for predicting daily irradiation on inclined surfaces was tested by using one-year measured data on a horizontal, an inclined and four vertical surfaces for Easthampstead (51.4°N, 0.8°W) and Lerwick (60.2°N, 1.2°W) in the United Kingdom. As a consequence an anisotropic model has been developed. The proposed model treats south-, north- and east/west-facing surfaces differently. The accuracy of the proposed model is compared with that of the isotropic model by employing a simple technique of error analysis. The usefulness of a good daily inclined surface irradiation model is outlined.

The validity of various models for predicting irradiance on inclined surfaces was investigated by employing one-year measured hourly irradiation data on horizontal and vertical surfaces for Easthampstead (51.4°N, 0.8°W) in the United Kingdom. This led to the development of an improved anisotropic model that distinguished between shaded and sunlit surfaces and between overcast and non-overcast conditions of the sunlit surfaces. The accuracy of the proposed model was compared with those of Klucher and Hay and the model was further tested against short-term measured data for four widely separated locations in the United Kingdom.
