However, the specific morphological characteristics of rain cells (RCs) and their impact on rainfall intensity over the oceans remain unclear. In this study, using 15-year observations from Tropical Rainfall Measurement Mission (TRMM) Precipitation Radar (PR), more than 600 thousand RCs in the northwest Pacific warm pool were identified and approximated by rectangle. The results showed that the horizontal scale of RCs was negatively correlated with their occurrence frequency, while there was a logarithmic correlation between the length and width of the approximated rectangle. The morphology of RCs presented huge zonal differences but small meridional differences over the study region. RCs had larger scale, narrower 2-D shape, and slender 3-D shape in the southern region compared with ones in the northern region. Precipitation intensity generally increased with the enlargement of the horizontal scale. The relationships between precipitation intensity and shape of RCs were very complex. Moderate shape of RCs had the weakest precipitation, whereas 2-D narrower or 3-D slender RCs had the strongest precipitation. Due to its wide coverage and strong scalability, spatial crowdsourcing (SC) has become a research hotspot in recent years. In order to assign tasks to closer workers, it is necessary for workers to provide accurate locations to the server. However, it will result in the leakage of the participants' location privacy. Existing works provide each worker with the same level of location privacy protection, which cannot meet the different privacy requirements of various workers. In addition, most works assume that the tasks are single-location tasks, and do not consider multi-location tasks. In this paper, we propose the Multi-location Task Allocation Problem with personalized location privacy protection (MLTAP). As far as we know, we are the first to study MLTAP. We propose a Multi-location task Allocation framework with Personalized location Privacy-protecting (MAPP). In order to allocate tasks efficiently, we use the R-tree to store workers and minimum bounding rectangle to represent multi-location tasks, thus filtering the unreachable workers for tasks. To better eliminate the adverse effect of location confusion, the SC server sorts candidate workers by the ranking metrics and allocates multi-location tasks efficiently. Several researchers have previously argued that streaming indicates a velocity constraint on the movement of attention. To test this hypothesis the present experiment measured tradeoffs between distance and timing for the onset or loss of streaming in a rectangular pattern of displayed lights. Two linear tradeoffs were found, one corresponding to the loss of streaming when the light pattern was slowed down, and one corresponding to the onset of streaming when the light pattern was sped up. The slopes of these linear relations are interpreted as integer multiples of the velocity of spatio-temporal attention waves. A process model postulates that participants adjust the wavelength of their spatio-temporal attentional traveling wave to match the height of the displayed rectangle. Streaming is assumed to occur when peaks in the attentional traveling wave coincide with the onsets of lights at the top and bottom of the displayed rectangle. Additional supporting evidence for temporal and spatial attention waves is reviewed. This model may be useful for understanding some forms of attentional deficits as well as expert attentional skills arising in musical performance, sports, meditation, and other tasks. Currently, many image encryption schemes either require additional secure channels for key transmission or employ a key that exhibits a lack of correlation with the plaintext, thereby reducing the security of the algorithm. This study proposes a novel image encryption scheme to address this issue. A new N-dimensional closed-loop coupled triangular wave model is developed to overcome the limitations of the sine function in chaotic systems while reducing the difficulty of the chaotic system design. Experimental analysis demonstrates that the generated chaotic systems exhibit complex chaotic behaviors and outperform other chaotic systems designed using the sine function. Specifically, we utilize difference extension technology to embed key information into the plaintext image and design a scrambling and diffusion algorithm based on Latin rectangles to encrypt the remaining pixel matrix without key information. Finally, the pixel matrix containing the key information is concealed to obtain the final ciphertext image. Simulation analysis and security evaluation demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms the encryption performance and security of several advanced image encryption algorithms. A mesh-free method on the basis of moving Kriging interpolation, of which shape function possesses C 2 continuum, is developed to investigate the vibration of the strain gradient plate. Owing to the inherent Kronecker delta function property of the moving Kriging interpolation, essential boundary conditions can be directly implemented. One superiority of the moving Kriging interpolation over the traditional moving least square approximation is that it can ensure the continuity and stability at the third order derivatives, which is confirmed by comparison with analytic solutions. Parametric studies in terms of small-scale parameters, boundary conditions and side length on the frequencies and mode shapes are carried out. Natural frequencies evaluated by strain gradient elasticity theory are found to be lower than those of classical plate model. Some lower natural frequencies corresponding to ultrahigh-order mode shapes appear.
