In this study, Monte Carlo investigation delves into the dielectric features of silicene–germanene nanosystem with junction connection. We emphasized the profound influence of physical parameters, coupling between Si–Si and Ge–Ge atoms and temperature, on these dielectric features. Our results highlight the pivotal role of the coupling parameter between Ge atoms in influencing blocking temperatures, underlining the significance of high values for spin and coupling parameters for achieving a high blocking temperature and delaying transitions. Furthermore, our analysis of electric hysteresis loops demonstrates their sensitivity to parameter variations, which can offer valuable insights for nanoelectronics and materials science applications.

The dielectric properties of a mixed Zethrene-inspired nanoscale system (SiZ-1, σkZ-5/2) have been analyzed in detail using the Monte Carlo approach (MCa) in this study. First, the most stable configurations in different planes were investigated. Then, the influences of the physical factors, namely the coupling interaction factor, on the thermal behaviors of the polarization and the susceptibility of the studied nanostructure have been examined for nonzero temperatures and fixed external electric field values. It was found that the obtained transition temperature point relies weakly on the coupling interaction. Finally, the effects of the physical factors on the electric hysteresis cycles were discussed.

This study explores the magnetic properties of Borospherene-like and Buckminsterfullerene-like lattices using Monte Carlo simulation, revealing novel behaviors. The dependency of blocking temperature (TB) on external magnetic field strength (H), linear coupling interaction (J), and biquadratic coupling interaction (K) was studied and compared between the two lattice types. Additionally, the evolution of coercive field (HC) with Jand Kparameters for both lattice types was analyzed. This study highlights the unique magnetic responses of these lattices and their potential applications in magnetic research and nanotechnology.

This article describes the use of Monte Carlo simulations to examine the magnetism of a planar striped Borophene-like nanostructure, which is made up of atoms with spin σ-1. We investigate how changes in the exchange coupling (Jσσ), external magnetic field (H), and crystal field (D) parameters affect the thermal changes in magnetization and susceptibility. We also analyze the changes in the blocking temperature (TB) based on variations in Jσσ, H, and D. Additionally, we discuss the hysteresis cycle and the effects of various physical parameters on the coercive field (Hc). The significant magnetic response of the striped Borophene-like nanostructure has potential applications for a variety of technologies that operate in low-temperature conditions.

This study uses Monte Carlo simulations to investigate the dielectric properties of a mixed nano Kagome lattice. The investigation explores the effects of exchange coupling interactions, temperature variations, and the crystalline field on blocking temperature and hysteresis loop characteristics. By conducting in-depth analysis and simulation, the study aims to provide a nuanced understanding of the dielectric behavior within a mixed nano Kagome lattice. The dielectric response in a nano Kagome lattice has potential applications in spintronics and nanotechnology.

Using the Monte Carlo approach, this study investigates the magnetic characteristics of carbon bi-nanotube-like composite by focusing specifically on vacancies. By exploring the vacancy parameters and the external magnetic field, h, the effect on the blocking temperature, TB, was examined closely. The results revealed a consistent trend, in that increasing vacancy rates in σ-atoms and S- atoms led to a near-linear decrease in TB, whereas higher h values were correlated with a rising TB. The results of this study can contribute to the understanding of nanotube behaviour under the effect of vacancies, paving the way for new customised applications.

The treatment of textile wastewater comprising many dyes as contaminants endures an essential task for environmental remediation. In addition, combating antifungal multidrug resistance (MDR) is an intimidating task, specifically owing to the limited options of alternative drugs with multitarget drug mechanisms. Incorporating natural polymeric biomaterials for drug delivery provides desirable properties for drug molecules, effectively eradicating MDR fungal growth. The current study fabricated the bipolymeric drug delivery system using chitosan-gum arabic-coated liposome 5ID nanoparticles (CS-GA-5ID-LP-NPs). This study focused on improving the solubility and sustained release profile of 5I-1H-indole (5ID). These NPs were characterized and tested mechanically as a dye adsorbent as well as their antifungal potencies against the plant pathogen, Botrytis cinerea. CS-GA-5ID-LP-NPs showed 71.23% congo red dye removal compared to crystal violet and phenol red from water and effectively had an antifungal effect on B. cinereaat 25 μg/mL MIC concentrations. The mechanism of the inhibition of B. cinereaviaCS-GA-5ID-LP-NPs was attributed to stabilized microtubule polymerization in silicoand in vitro. This study opens a new avenue for designing polymeric NPs as adsorbents and antifungal agents for environmental and agriculture remediation.

The current investigation employs Monte Carlo simulations to explore the magnetic features of a Fullerene-dimer-like nanostructure (C60)2characterized by the spin σ−1. It explores how the coupling interaction Jσ, the biquadratic parameter K, the external magnetic H and the crystal Dfields influence the thermal and magnetic features of the nanostructure, particularly the blocking temperature (TB). The results also highlight the dependence of hysteresis cycles and the coercive magnetic field Hcon the values of Jσ, K, and D, with significant variations at lower temperatures. The findings indicate the distinctive magnetic behavior of the Fullerene-dimer-like nanostructure (C60)2potentially useful in various technological applications.

A monolayer anthracene-like nanostructure was investigated through Monte Carlo simulations to determine its compensation temperature and magnetic hysteresis cycle. Also, the effects of exchange coupling on compensation and transition temperatures were discussed. Additionally, the magnetic hysteresis cycles and magnetic coercive field as well as the surface of multi-loop hysteresis were studied with respect to strong exchange coupling and temperature parameters. This study discusses the behavior of multi-loop hysteresis in multi-state memories and nanotechnology.

MXenes are rapidly emerging as a class of two-dimensional (2D) materials with a wide range of applications in energy storage. MXenes are 2D layered structures, making them the most sought-after material among the 2D family. MXenes are regarded as one of the best electrode materials due to exceptional characteristics, including flexibility, high conductivity, and tunable surface functional groups for advanced energy storage technologies. The demand for high-capacity energy storage devices that are durable, versatile, and cost-effective has grown in tandem with the advancement of technology. MXenes and their composites have significantly improved the performance of energy storage devices. Researchers are continuously exploring new ways to improve MXene's unique properties further. This review article summarizes recent developments in MXene-based electrochemical energy storage devices powered by supercapacitors, which are robust, flexible, and highly efficient. The article also focuses on MXene's structure, synthesis strategies, and how various factors such as electrode architecture design and electrolyte composition affect the charge storage mechanism and electrochemical efficiency of MXene-based supercapacitors.

The dielectric properties of a monolayer phenanthrene-like nanoisland of formula B14A10are examined in this research using Monte Carlo simulations. We evaluate the behaviors of the electric hysteresis loops and blocking temperature under the exchange coupling, crystalline field and temperature effects. The multi-loop hysteresis behavior examined in this research may have beneficial applications in nanotechnology and multi-state memory storage. Besides, the results found in the Phenanthrene-like nanoisland are in good agreement with several theoretical and experimental results.

Nanotechnology is an established field of study that impacts nano-biomedicine and the treatment of diseases, malignancies, and inflammation. Several natural polysaccharides have been reported for the treatment of toxic heavy metal ions, dye, and drug delivery applications. Among them, chitosan (CS) is a natural cationic polysaccharide, which is obtained by the deacetylation of chitin. CS is extensively employed in numerous fields because it has a unique combination of characteristics, which include bioactivity, biocompatibility, mucoadhesion, and biodegradability, and is readily available at affordable prices. Much literature is available on CS, but its environmental application including removal of toxic heavy metals ion and dye, and cancer drug delivery-related applications have not been compiled. Hence, this review provides a summary of CS-based materials and their preparations, potential application in the food industry, wastewater treatment, toxic heavy metal ions removal, and drug delivery application in cancer therapy, which would increase awareness of the use of CS polysaccharides for the removal of influents from wastewater and explore the further development of CS-based materials for cancer drug delivery.

Two novel organic aromatic thiophene derivatives, 5-(thiophen-2-yl)− 1 H-tetrazole (TET) and thiophene-2-carbaldehyde oxime (OXM) were investigated for their anticorrosion properties on the mild steel (M-S) in a 1 M HCl media. The two organic inhibitors have significant resistance to the effect of time of immersion, for example, the effectiveness of the molecule TET increases with the increase in time until 12 h and the molecule OXM effectiveness remains almost stable. The adsorption mechanism of OXM and TET was evaluated by electrochemical measurements (polarization and impedance spectroscopy), ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry (UV–Vis), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) joint with energy dispersive analysis of X-rays (EDAX). The effectiveness of these molecules was significantly influenced by temperature, immersed time, and concentration [10−6M − 10−3M], reaching a maximum of 94 %, and 95 % for OXM and TET, respectively, at 10−3M. In addition, the maximum shift in Ecorrvalues is 10–17 mV, which implies that the investigated thiophene compounds are mixed-type (anodic/cathodic) inhibitors. SEM micrographs confirmed the formation of a protective layer adsorbed on the M-S surface. The Electrophilic/nucleophilic attacks (Fukui indices) on M-S are theoretically determined. Strong consistency of findings obtained by computational (DFT and MC simulations) and electrochemical tests were demonstrated.
