The article focuses on the ways of manufacturing of biodegradable polymer composites which are compatible with the environment. Natural fibers can be an alternative to synthetic fibres used for their renewable character, acceptable specific strength properties, low cost, enhanced energy recovery and biodegradability. Consequently the percentage of elongation of fibre decreases continuously with the increase of fibre addition. The leaves of Agave cantala where examined for cellulose, lignin and pectic matters.
