Background: Future sustainable energy industrialization is a green energy source that has a lower circumstantial impact than traditional energy technologies. The advancement of new energy generation is important to expand the share of renewable energy sources. Objective: Worldwide, for the next generation, future energy demand may be fulfilled by using one of the renewable energy sources such as thermo electricity. Methods: The bismuth telluride–based (Bi2Te3-based) nanostructure material in thermo electricity still has a major part of applications. It is known as the most prospective TE device manufactured from a research arena towards successful commercialization. Results: The Bi2Te3-based nanostructure material is now on commercialization stages that it has some limitations. In order to find out the future direction of research and development of this material, the material will face a challenging way. Conclusion: The review paper provides an effective approach to overcome the limitation of Bi2Te3- based nanostructure. Moreover, in this review paper, the performance evaluation with existing Bi2Te3-based nanostructure and some other TE materials will be discussed in detail.

Intrinsic viscosities and gel permeation chromatography (GPC) elution times were determined in toluene on commercially available standards of polystyrene (PSTY) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) having Mn in the range of 103 to 105 and 104 to 106, respectively. In addition, elution times were determined on the discrete GPC peaks of dimer, trimer, tetramer, etc. as seen in lower molecular weight PSTY and PMMA. Intrinsic viscosities of oligomers were estimated by extrapolation of the Mark-Houwind-Sakurada equations determined from our data, and the results were used to establish a universal calibration curve over a wide range of molecular weights. A similar approach was taken by using literature data for the intrinsic viscosities of PSTY and PMMA in tetra-hydrofuran. It was verified by proton NMR that the universal calibration curve so constructed is useful at Mn, values as low as 300. No correction was necessary for chain length dependence of the detector response.

Free-radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate has been conducted in the presence of a new catalytic chain-transfer agent at different temperatures. The new catalyst exhibits a strong chain transfer characteristic, and the chain-transfer coefficient varies from 2.8 × 104 to 6.6 × 104 and depends on chain length and temperature. The chain-transfer coefficients decrease with increasing chain length but reach a limiting value for chains more than 8 units in length. The activation energy for the chain transfer coefficient is -10.1 kJ/mol for this catalyst.

A three step stereoselective route to the fluorinated natural product (2S,3S)-4-fluorothreonine is described; the route is amenable to the preparation of (2S,3S)-4-fluoro[3-2H]threonine and (2S,3R)-[4,4,4-2H3]threonine.

Using 19F NMR spectroscopy, 13C-labelled glycines and pyruvates are shown to be incorporated at high levels into fluoroacetate and 4-fluorothreonine by resting cells of Streptomyces cattleya; the labelling patterns illustrate a conversion of glycine via serine to pyruvate, where the C-2 and C-3 carbon atoms of pyruvate contribute both carbon atoms of fluoroacetate and C-3 and C-4 of 4-fluorothreonine respectively.
