Cyber Crime and fraud are growing at a rapid rate and the law practitioners require proper methodology to collect the digital evidences. When the criminals use digital platform in order to commit the crime, forensic examiners apply practical frameworks and methods to collect digital evidences. Digital forensics method involves the analysis of network traffic for detecting intrusions and investigating them. Different models have been proposed for the cyber crime investigation with the merits and demerit. This research paper explores cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks, features of the existing digital forensic investigation models and discusses some of the issues related to digital forensic research.

Microwave heating plays an important role in the processing & heating of foods in the food industry and at home, but the applicator design is frequently an arduous task. Thefinite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method can be used to model complex geometries and guide the design of different types of applicators. In the reported research, the FDTD approach has been employed to characterize the electric field distribution of a rectangular waveguide applicator, carrying TE10-mode aperture field distribution, terminated in an oversize rectangular waveguide/cavity and operating at 915 MHz. A comprehensive study was carried out to evaluate the mode/field distribution in the empty cavity box as a function of its geometrical dimensions. Power deposition profile throughout the volume of a packaged food, and scattering parameters as a function offood properties and surrounding environment were computed, by using a realistic food-engineering model. Good agreements between modeling and experimental results were obtained. The results demonstrated the usefulness of numerical simulation in predicting and characterizing the electromagnetic (EM) field distributions in microwave applicators used in food processing.

ABSTRACTThe Laminar Boundary Layer (LBL) over a flat plate is a member of the family of similar flows over a wedge, which is famously known as Falkner-Skan Flows (FSF). Based on the available numerical results, this paper gives velocity distribution equations for LBL over a flat plate and FSF, which exhibit the influence of viscosity and external stream flow all over the depth of LBL. In the case of a Turbulent Boundary Layer (TBL), viscosity and boundary roughness affect the velocity distribution in the inner region, while the external stream flow influences the outer region. The majority of TBL consists of the outer region in which the velocity saturates to external stream value. Available outer region models consist of superimposition of a wake function over the log-layer equation. The superimposed equation does not satisfy the boundary condition of free-stream velocity at infinite distance from the boundary. Presented herein is a generalized velocity distribution equation for both the inner and outer regions of the TBL. The equation is valid for both negative and positive pressure gradients. As the equation contains wall shear velocity, a generalized equation for wall shear velocity has also been given.

ABSTRACTOn account of viscosity and surface tension effects the discharge equation for flow over a rectangular sharp crested weir loses its significance at low heads. The low head discharge prediction methods in usage are based on multiplying correction factors which are either dimensionally inhomogeneous, or have to be obtained from a graph which makes them unsuitable for analytical purposes. Presented herein is a high accuracy dimensionally homogeneous weir discharge coefficient equation incorporating viscosity and surface tension effects.

The paper outlines the various elements of eco-system imbalance caused by increasing consumption of fuels. Systems approach is suggested and generalised objective function for minimising eco-system imbalance is formulated. The deterministic and probabilistic viewpoints are critically examined. The importance of pollution monitoring and control programmes is brought out. The statistical and regression analysis of monitored pollution data for prediction of future trends is illustrated by performing such an analysis for the available data of U. K. and Hawaii. Need of broad based systematic research programmes for evolving effective emission control devices and combustion process modifications is stressed.

Chronic mercury toxicity was induced in goats by administering mercuric chloride at 100 µg/ml in deionized drinking water offered ad libitum for 90 days. Toxic signs of gastrointestinal disturbances and renal dysfunction developed from 43 days onwards without any mortality. The toxicity also induced nephrosis and tubular nephritis; centrilobular necrosis of liver; mild to moderate necrosis in spleen, intestine and lymph node; Zenker's degeneration of cardiac muscles; exudative pneumonia; and pial congestion, oedema and vacuolation in the brain. In addition, hyperaemia, oedema and tissue haemorrhages were evident in most of the organs. The kidneys contained the largest residues of mercury, followed by liver, spleen, intestine, lymph node, skeletal muscles, lungs, heart, brain and the omental fat. The intensity of the cytotoxic changes in the various organs was proportional to the amount of mercury accumulated.
