The article presents strategies for evaluating online sources to the academic librarian community, aimed at providing support to fellow librarians in their information literacy instruction. They include forming initial impressions by checking the six quality indicators of the online sources, assessing quality using the Currency, Relevance, Authority, Accuracy and Purpose (CRAAP) test, and applying critical thinking and lateral reading skills to evaluate the content from various sources.
