3. Microstructural evolution during tempering process and mechanical properties of Cr–Ni–Mo–V/Nb high strength steel

- Abstract
High strength steels exhibit superior mechanical properties due to the unique microstructure, which successfully solves the drawback of the inevitable strength-toughness trade-off that occurs in traditional alloys. Here we investigated the effect of matrix and precipitates on mechanical properties of Cr–Ni–Mo–V/Nb steel after water quenching and tempering (150–500 °C). The results showed that the microstructure of the present steel is noticeably tuned by changing the tempering temperature. An excellent combination of strength (a yield strength of 1308 MPa with a total elongation of 8.2%) and toughness (Charpy V-notch impact toughness of 40.5 J/cm2) is obtained upon tempering at 200 °C. This is attributed to the lath martensite containing high dislocation density, the martensite-twin substructure, and the strengthening effects of the precipitated needle-like ε-carbides and spherical VC particles. The acicular ε-carbides are replaced by the rod-shaped Fe3C at the tempering temperature of 350 °C, resulting in the remarkable deterioration in strength, hardness, and elongation. Spheroidized carbides formed at a tempering temperature of 500 °C are beneficial to the enhancement of the elongation and toughness, but the strength decreases due to the matrix softening caused by the recovery of dislocation.

4. Hypobaric Hypoxia Aggravates Renal Injury by Inducing the Formation of Neutrophil Extracellular Traps through the NF-κB Signaling Pathway

- Abstract
Objective: The hypersensitivity of the kidney makes it susceptible to hypoxia injury. The involvement of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) in renal injury resulting from hypobaric hypoxia (HH) has not been reported. In this study, we aimed to investigate the expression of NETs in renal injury induced by HH and the possible underlying mechanism. Methods: A total of 24 SD male rats were divided into three groups (n=8 each): normal control group, hypoxia group and hypoxia+pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate (PDTC) group. Rats in hypoxia group and hypoxia+PDTC group were placed in animal chambers with HH which was caused by simulating the altitude at 7000 meters (oxygen partial pressure about 6.9 kPa) for 7 days. PDTC was administered at a dose of 100 mg/kg intraperitoneally once daily for 7 days. Pathological changes of the rat renal tissues were observed under a light microscope; the levels of serum creatinine (SCr), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), cell-free DNA (cf-DNA) and reactive oxygen species (ROS) were measured; the expression levels of myeloperoxidase (MPO), citrullinated histone H3 (cit-H3), B-cell lymphoma 2 (Bcl-2), Bax, nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) p65 and phospho-NF-κB p65 (p-NF-κB p65) in rat renal tissues were detected by qRT-qPCR and Western blotting; the localization of NF-κB p65 expression in rat renal tissues was observed by immunofluorescence staining and the expression changes of NETs in rat renal tissues were detected by multiplex fluorescence immunohistochemical staining. Results: After hypoxia, the expression of NF-κB protein in renal tissues was significantly increased, the levels of SCr, BUN, cf-DNA and ROS in serum were significantly increased, the formation of NETs in renal tissues was significantly increased, and a large number of tubular dilatation and lymphocyte infiltration were observed in renal tissues. When PDTC was used to inhibit NF-κB activation, NETs formation in renal tissue was significantly decreased, the expression level of Bcl-2 in renal tissues was significantly increased, the expression level of Bax was significantly decreased, and renal injury was significantly alleviated. Conclusion: HH induces the formation of NETs through the NF-κB signaling pathway, and it promotes apoptosis and aggravates renal injury by decreasing Bcl-2 and increasing Bax expression.

Abstract“Bronze Embroidery” is a series of design by Yi Zhe, a Shanghainese designer brand founded by Xu Xubing, that combines Chinese traditional cheongsam tailoring with Western wrinkling technology, aiming to meet the physiological, psychological, spiritual and cultural needs of middle-aged and older women. The name of this series indicates the combination of bronze color and an embroidered textural effect of the shrunken pleats. The design features of the traditional cheongsam that suit a slim body may not necessarily suit the changing bodies of middle-aged and older women. Therefore, while maintaining the cheongsam’s cultural form, the series of “Bronze Embroidery” modifies the traditional cheongsam, such as materials, surface design, and structure, and demonstrates the key significance of design innovation based on market feedback.

6. Synthesis of Semiconducting 2H-Phase WTe2Nanosheets with Large Positive Magnetoresistance

- Abstract
Tungsten ditelluride (WTe2) is provoking immense interest because of its unique electronic properties, but studies about its semiconducting hexagonal (2H) phase are quite rare. Herein, we report the synthesis of semiconducting 2H WTe2nanosheets with large positive magnetoresistance, for the first time, by a simple lithium-intercalation-assisted exfoliation strategy. Systematic characterizations including high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and Raman and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopies provide clear evidence to distinguish the structure of 2H WTe2nanosheets from the orthorhombic (Td) phase bulk counterpart. The corresponding electronic phase transition from metal to semiconductor is also confirmed by density of states calculation, optical absorption, and electrical transport property measurements. Besides, the 2H WTe2nanosheets exhibit large positive magnetoresistance with values of up to 29.5% (10 K) and 16.2% (300 K) at 9 T. Overall, these findings open up a promising avenue into the exploration of WTe2-based materials in the semiconductor field.

7. Trace level analysis and risk assessment of typical antibiotics in drinking water by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MC/MS)

- Abstract
This research evaluated the occurrence and distribution of 28 antibiotics from the sulfonamides, tetracyclines, macrolides, fluoroquinolones, β-lactams and the others in drinking water in upper reach of Three Gorges Reservoir, China. With three types of eight kinds of antibiotics detected, the concentration in the range of 0.4–140.0 ng/L includes sulfa sulfamethoxazole (SMX), sulfamethazine (SMZ), macrolide erythromycin, roxithromycin (ERM), roxithromycin (ROM), tylosin (TYL), lincomycin (LIN), chloramphenicol amine benzene alcohol (CAP), florfenicol (FF). In addition to CAP, the remaining seven kinds of antibiotics are poultry drugs, and the usage rank of FF and LIN are the top five in the antibiotics list of China. According to the analysis of different water sources, ecological risk level (RQsum) from high to low were T-R-CK > C-R-BB > T-L-JM > C-R-DY > T-R-GQ > T-L-Z J > C-L-GSQ > C-R-LT > C-R-FSB, the RQsumof T-R-CK water source up to 1.981, indicating that the corresponding aquatic organisms in the water source exhibit higher toxicity risk. The detection of antibiotics in C-R-FSB and C-R-LT water source were at low risk, indicating that both were affected by human activities at minimal interference. According to the analysis of the detection of antibiotics, SMX, TYL, ERM and ROM showed moderate risk level, the potential impact on ecological should be paid more attention. In view of the risk of antibiotics are major livestock and poultry drugs, the Three Gorges Reservoir area should further regulate the use of antibiotics in livestock and poultry breeding.

8. Extrusion process of 304L H-shaped stainless steel used in passive residual heat removal heat exchanger

- Abstract
304L H-shaped stainless steel is used as the support frame of the passive residual heat removal heat exchanger (PRHR HX) in a nuclear fission reactor. The extrusion process is adopted to manufacture the 304L H-shaped stainless steel. Finite element method simulation is herein used to analyze metal flow characteristics, optimize the extrusion die, and predict the extrusion force at different temperatures and speeds. A Φ400-mm container and Φ388-mm forging billet are selected, and the 304L H-shaped stainless steel is successfully manufactured using a Germany SMS 60 MN horizontal extruder. The mechanical properties and microstructure of the manufactured 304L H-shaped stainless steel meet the requirements of the PRHR HX, and the surfaces of the product pass the dye penetration test. The H-shaped stainless steels are used in Haiyang nuclear power plant in Shandong Province.

9. Examining the Influence of the Regions on Star Formation Surface Density

- Abstract
We analyzed the star formation surface density (ΣSFR) between the global and H iiregions in a sample of 69 low surface brightness galaxies (LSBGs) and 68 star-forming (SF) galaxies using data from the Hαimages. The conventional global ΣSFR, which is defined as the star formation rate (SFR) divided by the area of the global galaxy, may not accurately describe the star formation activity in LSBGs due to the lower number of H iiregions compared to SF galaxies. To address this, we divide the global galaxy into two regions, the H iiregion and the diffuse region, and then study the ΣSFRin each region. Our results show that both the SFR and area of the H iiregions in LSBGs are lower than those in SF galaxies, resulting in the H iiregion’s ΣSFR(SFR/area) being slightly lower in LSBGs than in SF galaxies by 0.28 dex, although the global ΣSFRis at least an order of magnitude lower in LSBGs than in SF galaxies. Furthermore, a significant difference exists between the global and H iiregions in ΣSFR. In LSBGs, ΣSFRincreased by 0.80 dex from the global region to the H iiregion, while SF galaxies demonstrate a 0.54 dex increase, highlighting the crucial aspect of carefully selecting an appropriate aperture for ΣSFRcalculations.

AbstractAerial bulbil, other than axillary branch and tendril, is a special propagative organ in Lilium lancifolium, but the development events occurring during bulbil formation of L. lancifoliumhave not been reported. In this study, we observed the changes of morphology and anatomical structure during the process of bulbil formation in L. lancifolium. The results indicated that bulbils of L. lancifoliumformed in the joint region of leaf and stem and were derived from the division and differentiation of axillary meristem cells. Bulbils first generated on a certain leaf axil in the upper portion of stem, and then formed upward along the upper stem. The present study provides histological information for further studying the mechanism of bulbil formation.

11. Quality of experience evaluation of HTTP video streaming based on user interactive behaviors

- Abstract
User interactive behaviors play a dual role during the hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) video service: reflection and influence. However, they are seldom taken into account in practices. To this end, this paper puts forward the user interactive behaviors, as subjective factors of quality of experience (QoE) from viewer level, to structure a comprehensive multilayer evaluation model based on classic network quality of service (QoS) and application QoS. First, dual roles of user behaviors are studied and the characteristics are extracted where the user experience is correlated with user interactive behaviors. Furthermore, we categorize QoE factors into three dimensions and build the metric system. Then we perform the subjective tests and investigate the relationships among network path quality, user behaviors, and QoE. Ultimately, we employ the back propagation neural network (BPNN) to validate our analysis and model. Through the simulation experiment of mathematical and BPNN, the dual effects of user interaction behaviors on the reflection and influence of QoE in the video stream are analyzed, and the QoE metric system and evaluation model are established.

13. Cell outage compensation based on CoMP and optimization of tilt

- Abstract
Cell outage compensation (COC) is a self-healing function of the self-organizing networks (SONs) concept for mobile wireless networks. In order to compensate the outage cell autonomously, this paper drives a solution for COC. This method is based on coordinated multiple points (CoMP) transmission and tilt adjusting. Firstly, the paper takes the coordinated pattern and tilt as the optimization objects. Then, it defines the rational objectives and the evaluation function of the situation and analysis the optimization model. Finally, based on the effective genetic algorithm (GA), the compensation mechanism is proposed. Simulation results show that this solution is better than the elder solutions in terms of coverage, interference, and throughput.

14. Microstructures and Properties of Low-Density High Strength-Toughness Fe-18Mn-9.5Al-0.65C Steel

- Abstract
With excellent mechanical properties and low density, Fe-Mn-Al-C steel would be the first choice for automotive lightweight design in future. In this paper, microstructural evolution, mechanical properties and strain hardening behavior of Fe-18Mn-9.5Al-0.65C steel before and after solution treatment were investigated. The experimental steel had (α+γ) duplex phase structure, density of 6.82g/cm
3 and high product of strength and ductility. After hot rolling, the steel showed microstructural morphology of austenite matrix and banded ferrite, tensile strength of over 1000MPa and elongation of 25%. During solution treatment, the tensile strength, as well as the yielding strength, decreased with the increase of solution temperature, while the elongation increased first and then decreased sharply for excessively coarsening of grains. After solution treated at 1000°C for 1h, the elongation reached 44%, and product of strength and ductility was 34GPa·%, which was 36% higher than that of the hot-rolled steel. Excellent comprehensive properties are attributed to the multiple-stage strain hardening behavior during tensile deformation, as well as the crush and separation of banded ferrite to form a uniform structure during solution treatment.- Published

15. Research on Fluctuations in Work Hardening Rate of a Fe-Mn-Al-C Steel

The fluctuations in the work hardening rate of a Fe-12Mn-10Al-0.7C (wt. %) steel have been investigated through scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The work hardening rate of the heat treated sample had a tendency of decrease with fluctuations. The first raise in the work hardening rate curve at about 2% true strain is attributed to the shearing of the small ferrite grains by austenite, and the deformation induced twinning can contribute to the raise and drop in the work hardening rate curve. The second fluctuation range at the true strain between 10% and 14% is mainly related to the activation of planar slip on the principle slip plane which is suppressed by twins in austenite.

To employ the network resources more effectively and flexibly, cloud radio access network (C-RAN) adopts centralized network construction and management. Since the new network characteristics, the self-healing is reliable distinguish compared with previous studies. This paper drives a solution for selfhealing based on cooperative transmission and power adjustment under C-RAN self-healing management architecture. This compensation model with the aim to maximize the number of connected UEs and optimize power regulation is solved by Benders’ decomposition algorithm. And through the simulation, this paper verifies the speediness and effectiveness of this scheme.

The rapid development of mobile internet has brought new opportunities to the development of the animation industry, but the network traffic bottlenecks animation video promotion. Based on the super-computing resources, using the Python language, adopting FFMpeg, OpenCV, HEVC and PyGTK technologies, we designed and implemented an animation video resource conversion system to solve the traffic bottleneck in this paper. The conversion system provides HEVC parallel conversion, video serial conversion, video frames extraction and video playback functions, effectively promoted the promotion of animation products distribution.

20. LIM homeobox transcription factor 1B expression affects renal interstitial fibrosis and apoptosis in unilateral ureteral obstructed rats

- Abstract
LIM homeobox transcription factor 1B (LMX1B) is a transcription factor of the LIM homeodomain type and has been implicated in the development of diverse structures such as limbs, kidneys, eyes, and the brain. Furthermore, LMX1B has been implicated in nail-patella syndrome, which is predominantly characterized by malformation of limbs and nails, and in 30% of patients, nephropathy, including renal fibrosis, is observed. Since no reports were available that studied the link between LMX1B expression and renal interstitial fibrosis, we explored if LMX1B affects typical markers of fibrosis, e.g., extracellular matrix components, profibrotic factors, and apoptosis as the final detrimental consequence. We recently showed that LMX1B acts as a negative regulator of transforming growth factor-βl, collagen type III, fibronectin, cleaved caspase-3, and the cell apoptosis rate in a renal tubular epithelial cell system under hypoxic conditions. Here, we confirmed these results in unilateral ureteral obstructed rats. Furthermore, LMX1B was distinctly expressed throughout the glomerulus and tubule lining, including epithelial cells. Knockdown of LMX1B aggravated the expression of fibrosis markers, oxidative stress, and apoptosis compared with the already increased levels due to unilateral ureteral obstruction, whereas overexpression attenuated these effects. In conclusion, reduced LMX1B levels clearly represent a risk factor for renal fibrosis, whereas overexpression affords some level of protection. In general, LMX1B may be considered to be a negative regulator of the fibrosis index, transforming growth factor-βl, collagen type III, fibronectin, cleaved caspase-3, cell apoptosis, ROS, and malondialdehyde (r= −0.756, −0.698, −0.921, −0.923, −0.843, −0.794, −0.883, and −0.825, all P< 0.01).

21. Effect of Solid Solution Treatment on the Microstructure and Properties of Fe-Mn-Al Light-Weight Steel

A study was made of the effects of solid solution treatment on the properties of hot rolled Fe-Mn-Al steel and on the microstructure transformation. In the steel, the austenite matrix and ferrite duplex phases were confirmed by micrographs and X-ray diffraction. It was indicated that the hot rolled Fe-Mn-Al steel (6.55g/cm
3 in density) is with mechanical properties of tensile strength 1315.6MPa, elongation 14.60%. The tensile strength decreases with increasing temperature. The tensile test displays an outstanding combination of high strength and ductility at room temperature due to continuous strain hardening behavior. The product of tensile strength and ductility can reach 46.5GPa·%. Solution treatment contributes to the dissolution of precipitate, austenite grain growth and banded ferrite crushing.- Published

In arecent paper [L. Feng et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 109, 233006 (2012)], we demonstrated a sub-transit-linewidth resonance based on cross correlation between optical fields in an electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) system. Here, we investigate the ability of such resonance to resolve multiple resonance peaks. We first report the implementation of the cross-correlation resonance in a hyperfine EIT system, with a linewidth of about 1/16 of the transit EIT width. Then, a magnetic field is applied to create multipeak EIT resonance with tunable spacing. Cross-correlation resonance with multipeaks is observed and the line shape agrees qualitatively with our numerical simulations. We find that the multipeak correlation resonance has better contrast than the corresponding EIT resonance, but with a lower signal to noise. Furthermore, this correlation resonance cannot resolve peaks with spacing close to or less than the intrinsic width, like any other resonance techniques. We analyze the origin of this limitation and make connections to the Ramsey-type subnatural spectroscopy technique. - Abstract
LS-DYNA software was adopted to conduct research of numerical simulation on hot stamping of front bumper to calculate the temperature field distribution, stress field distribution, FLD figure and etc. of parts in the course of hot stamping so as to predict and analyze the formability of parts. ProCAST software was employed to conduct research of numerical simulation on solid quenching course concerning hot stamping to calculate temperature field distribution of tools and component of multiple stamping cycles; Based on the simulation,the hot stamping mould was developed,and the front bumper components of hot forming were stamped, Compared the test results with the simulation, both the results coincide basically with same variation trend .Results obtain from numerical simulation can provide significant reference value to hot stamping part design, formability predication and tools cooling channel system design.

24. Transition linewidth of cross correlations in random intensity fluctuations in electromagnetically induced transparency.

It is known that cross correlation between the random intensity fluctuations of two lasers forming electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) exhibits a transition from correlation to anticorrelation. We study the linewidth behavior of this transition and have found the linewidth is below the (effective) coherence lifetime limit and is limited only by competing noises. We established a numerical model which reveals the linewidth dependence on laser linewidth and laser power. Our experiments using lasers with different linewidth showed results in qualitative agreement with the model. This result is useful for quantum optics using EIT and may also have applications in spectroscopy and precision measurements. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

25. Femoral Head Lag Screw Position for PFN: A Biomechanical Analysis

- Abstract
Objective To compare the biomechanical properties of two lag screws proximal femoral nail(PFN) when they are placed in different points of the neck of femur in the treatment of intertrochanteric fracture of femur. Method Three pairs of fresh femora of adults aging from 55 to 65 are taken. They are made into AO type A1.1 intertrochanteric fracture. Fracture specimens are fixed by PFN. The mechanical testing machine loads the fracture model at a speed of 0.5mm/s. The stress distribution of the fracture broken ends, the opening angle of the fracture broken ends, and the relationship between load and displacement are recorded respectively. Result The stress change of the group inferior of the small trochanter is smaller than that of the group superior. The opening angle of the fracture of the group inferior is smaller than that of the group superior. The displacement of the top of the femoral head of the group inferior is smaller than that of the group superior. Conclusion The performance of the group inferior is better than that of the group superior. Thus it can be concluded that when two lag screws of PFN were placed in the middle and below 1/3 part of femoral neck, the biomechanical properties are better, the structure is relatively more stable, and the stress bearing is more reasonable.

This paper introduces a new bamboo wood composite board structure, which board uses little diameter class bamboo as raw material. Bamboos cut into segments and remove part of the bamboo surface from double sides or four sides. Make the bamboo segments have two or four smooth surfaces. Through arrange the bamboo segments reasonably, minimize the impact of differences in bamboo segments straightness to the bamboo wood composite board. And then rolling brush the smooth bamboo segments surfaces with adhesive. Gluing between the bamboo segments from left and right sides and gluing bamboo segments with fiberboard from top and bottom sides. After the hot pressing and cutting edges, the bamboo wood composite board shaping.

- Abstract
We aim to present an overview of the status of adhesives in the wood industry, especially in the area of wood-based panels. The review summarizes the current state of research of two kinds of adhesives, i.e., synthetic adhesives and natural adhesives. Synthetic adhesives, consisting of urea-formaldehyde resins (UF), phenol-formaldehyde resins (PF), polyvinyl acetate emulsion (PVAc) and isocyanates, are widely used. For UF, most investigations are concerned with the reduction of free formaldehyde; for PF, most studies focus on finding new chemicals to replace phenol. PVAc has poor properties, but these can be improved by a blending reactions and copolymerization with other chemicals. Isocyanate is an environmentally friendly synthetic adhesive, but also suffers from inadequate properties. Natural adhesives, such as protein/starch, lignin and tannins, have poor bonding effect that limits their level of use, but their main advantages are that they are environmentally friendly and a renewable resource. Studies of modification can improve the bonding performances and gradually cause natural adhesives to become applied in industrial production. Abstract-A flexible decentralized and hierarchical architecture is presented to reduce computational effort in designing optimal nonbiocking supervisors for discrete-event systems (DES). We organize a DES into modular subsystems that embody internal interacting dependencies. Verification of, and coordination among modular subsystems are achieved through their model abstractions. Sufficient conditions are presented to guarantee that coordinators and modular supervisors result in maximally permissive and nonblocking control. 30. Agonistic monoclonal antibodies potentiate tumorigenic and invasive activities of splicing variant of the RON receptor tyrosine kinase

- Abstract
Ligand-dependent or independent activation of the RON receptor tyrosine kinase is essential in transducing invasive signals leading to increased tumorigenic activities. In this study, we characterized two monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) specific to the extracellular domains of human RON and studied their agonistic effect on tumorigenic activities mediated by oncogenic variant RON?160. The mAb Zt/g4 and Zt/c1 are specific to human RON. They bind to RON with high affinities and recognized different epitopes on the RON extracellular domain. Because of their reactivity with native RON, Zt/g4 and Zt/c1 are useful in various applications such as immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescent analysis, and immunohistochemical staining. Functional studies revealed that Zt/g4 and Zt/c1 are capable of inducing RON phosphorylation which activates signaling proteins such as Erk1/2 and Akt. In NIH3T3 cells expressing RON?160, both mAbs significantly enhanced RON?160-mediated tumorigenic activities including cell proliferation, focus formation, and anchorage-independent growth. Cell shape changes with increased motile and invasive activities were also observed. Studies in vivo further demonstrated that Zt/g4 and Zt/c1 increase RON?160-mediated tumor growth in nude mice with a shortened time of onset and enlarged tumor volume. Thus, by recognizing specific epitopes on the RON extracellular domains, Zt/g4 and Zt/c1 have abilities to elicit a full array of RONmediated responses. These mAbs will be useful in studying mechanisms underlying RON activation which lead to increased tumorigenic activities.

The frequency channelized receiver based on hybrid filter bank is a promising receiver structure for ultra-wideband (UWB) radio because of its relaxed circuit requirements and robustness to interference. The uncertainties in the analog analysis filters and the time varying nature of the propagation channels necessitate adaptive methods in practical frequency channelized receivers. Adaptive synthesis filters, however, suffer from slow convergence speed especially when maximally decimated to reduce the analog-digital converter sampling frequency. To improve the convergence speed, the cyclic prefix is applied to the transmitted data. The propagation channel and the channelizer can then be modeled as a circulant matrix and block CM, respectively. Such matrix representation enables the transmitted data to be recovered by two cascaded one-tap equalizers, one of which corresponds to the channelizer and the other to the propagation channel. The cascaded structure is attractive as it allows the estimation of the propagation channel and the channelizer, which vary at vastly different rates, to be updated separately. Adaptive algorithms for both the fractionally spaced equalizer and the symbol spaced equalizer are derived. After initial convergence during startup, the adaptive performance of the channelized receiver to different propagation channels is similar to that of an ideal full band receiver. 32. Study on dynamic model of tractor system for automated navigation applications

- Abstract
This research aims at using a dynamic model of tractor system to support navigation system design for an automatically guided agricultural tractor. This model, consisting of a bicycle model of the tractor system, has been implemented in the MATLAB environment and was developed based on a John Deere tractor. The simulation results from this MATLAB model was validated through field navigation tests. The accuracy of the trajectory estimation is strongly affected by the determination of the cornering stiffness of the tractor. In this simulation, the tractor cornering stiffness analysis was identified during simulation analysis using the MATLAB model based on the recorded trajectory data. The obtained data was used in simulation analyses for various navigation operations in the field of interest. The analysis on field validation test results indicated that the developed tractor system could accurately estimate wheel trajectories of a tractor system while operating in agricultural fields at various speeds. The results also indicated that the developed system could accurately determine tractor velocity and steering angle while the tractor operates in curved fields.

- Abstract
Our research has shown that the autocorrelation peaks of a binary joint transform correlator are affected by input scenes’ backgrounds. An adaptive method is proposed to overcome this problem. The image of interest is first extracted from the background based on the position of the highest correlation peak of the input and reference images. The extracted image is then correlated with the reference to obtain the final correlation peak. Numerical simulations showed that the final autocorrelation peak is the maximum constant for a specified reference image.

- Abstract
On the basis of a synergistic strategy for CO2activation and conversion, a water-promoted selective synthesis of 5-aryl-2-oxazolidinones from aziridines and CO2has been exploited in a metal- and base-free system in confined nanospaces of hierarchical porous silica, affording moderate to good conversions and yields. In this process, carbonic acid in-situ generated interacts with and ingeniously activates the aziridine ring, facilitating its subsequent transformation and promoting the selectivity of 5-substituted products. DFT calculations, FTIR spectroscopy and pH value monitoring reveal that the excellent 5-postion regio-selectivity is dictated by kinetics, which is attributed to the formation of a latent benzyl carbocation in the transition state. The confined nanospaces of hierarchical porous silica can be considered as plenty of nanoreactors, which would change concentrations of reagents and activation parameters, stabilize transition states and enhance the kinetics process. This environment-friendly system provides a synergistic strategy of optimizing both the chemical function and physical microenvironment to enhance CO2activation, and enriches the carbon capture and utilization (CCU) coupling process by conversion of the waste (water-fixed CO2) into value-added compounds.

An entropy network mapped from a binary feature tree is described and compared with the Hamming net. Implementation of the entropy network includes extracting features from an input and making the decision according to these features. The feature extraction in the first layer of the entropy network is implemented by an optical method. Optical implementation with an incoherent shadow casting correlation system is proposed, and experimental demonstrations are given. The processing capability of the proposed optical system is discussed.

- Abstract
Background -Combination of ibrutinib plus rituximab (IR) has generated significant efficacy and safety data in relapsed patients (pts) with MCL. In this single institution phase II trial, we investigated the efficacy and safety of using an IR combination followed by short course (4 cycles) of R-HCVAD/MTX-ara-C as consolidation in previously untreated young (age ≤ 65 years) pts with MCL. We hypothesized that using a chemo-free induction will mitigate the toxicities and risk of second cancers which are associated with the use of intensive chemoimmunotherapy regimen in these pts.

42. Construction of the Indicator System Applied to Evaluate Basic Capabilities of Smart Meter Enterprises on NQI

- Abstract
In order to quantitatively evaluate the basic capabilities of smart meter enterprises on National Quality Infrastructure (NQI) and continuously improve the quality level of smart meter enterprises, this paper, profited from China's NQI capability index system and the Delphi method, with representiveness of indicators as the starting point, and based on repeated screening and expert demonstration, chooses the most representative indicators devised for NQI factors such as measurement, standardization, certification & accreditation, inspection & testing and quality management in the production of smart meters, and constructs an indicator system applied to evaluate the basic capabilities of smart meter enterprises on NQI, which includes 5 first-level indicators, 8 second-level indicators and 30 basic indicators. With construction of this system, we can quantitatively evaluate the basic quality and technology capabilities of smart meter manufacturers and continuously improve deficiencies of enterprises on their NQI. And, the State Grid can also apply this system as a technical specification to evaluate the quality level of smart meter enterprises.

Recently, the Dark Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE) experiment released the new measurement of the total cosmic e+e- flux between 25 GeV and 4.6 TeV, which indicates a spectral softening at around 0.9 TeV and a tentative peak at around 1.4 TeV. We utilize a scalar dark matter (DM) model to explain the DAMPE peak by χχ→Z′Z′→ℓℓ̅ℓ′ℓ̅′ with an additional anomaly-free gauged U(1) family symmetry, in which χ, Z′, and ℓ(') denote, respectively, the scalar DM, the new gauge boson, and ℓ(')=e, μ, τ with mχ~mZ′~2×1.5 (TeV). We first illustrate that the minimal framework GSM×U(1)Y′ with the above mass choices can explain the DAMPE excess, which, however, be excluded by LHC constraints from the Z′ searches. Then, we study a nonminimal framework GSM×U(1)Y′×U(1)Y′′ in which U(1)Y′′ mixes with U(1)Y′. We show that such a framework can interpret the DAMPE data and at the same time survive all other constraints including the DM relic abundance, DM direct detection, and collider bounds. We also investigate the predicted e+e- spectrum in this framework and find that the mass splitting Δm=mχ-mZ′′ should be less than about 17 GeV to produce the peaklike structure. 44. Pilot Study of Pembrolizumab for Immunoprevention in Smoldering Multiple Myeloma

- Abstract
Background:The current management of patients with smoldering multiple myeloma (SMM) is watchful waiting. However, a fraction of these patients are at significant risk of progression to symptomatic multiple myeloma (MM). In a recent study, expression of PD-L1 on tumor cells correlated with increased risk of progression from SMM to MM (Dhodapkar et al Blood. 2015; 126(22): 2475-2478) suggesting a role for immune checkpoint blockade for immunoprevention of MM. Pembrolizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody against programmed death receptor-1 (PD-1) and blocks the interaction between PD-1 and PD-L1. Here, we report the results of a pilot study evaluating the safety and efficacy of pembrolizumab in intermediate- and high-risk SMM patients (I-HR-SMM). Methods:Patients with I-HR-SMM by PETHEMA, Mayo or SWOG criteria were eligible. Permbrolizumab was administered at a dose of 200 mg IV every 21 days for up to 8 cycles. Patients were eligible to continue treatment for up to 24 cycles if they achieved ≥ minor response after 8 cycles. The primary objective was the overall response rate (ORR) after 8 cycles. The target ORR was 25%. The trial was conducted by the Simon's Minimax design and the ORR was estimated accordingly (Simon, 1989). Twelve patients were planned for the first stage. If at least one patient had ≥ partial response, 4 more patients could enroll for a total of 16 patients. Serial peripheral blood mononuclear cells and bone marrow samples were collected for comprehensive immunophenotyping using multiparametric flow cytometry, and molecular profiling with gene expression profiling (GEP) and exome sequencing. Results:Twelve patients with I-HR-SMM were dosed on the first stage between 08/2016 and 06/2017 (Table 1a/b). Median age was 67.5 years (range 49-74). Median number of cycles received was 8 (range 3-8) and all 12 were evaluable for safety and efficacy. Median follow up was 8.54 months (4.7 to 9.6 months). One patient achieved a stringent complete remission (sCR) (8%), ten patients had stable disease (83%), and one patient had progressive disease (8%). The patient with sCR had HR-SMM by GEP70 and FISH (deletion 17p and amplification of CKS1B) and 50% plasma cells infiltration in the bone marrow at study entry. The sCR with negative flow cytometry on bone marrow was noted in this patient after only 3 cycles of therapy and response is ongoing 8 months after the end of treatment. Five patients discontinued therapy due to related adverse events: grade 2 elevation in LFT (n=2), grade 3 myalgia (n=1), and grade 3 acute kidney injury (AKI) due to tubulo-interstitial nephritis (n=2) [all resolved with discontinuation of treatment or prednisone administration]. There were no grade 4/5 adverse events. Enrollment on second stage is ongoing. Imunophenotyping of paired baseline and end of treatment bone marrow samples showed that the patient who achieved sCR had high levels of PD-1 expression on CD4+ and CD8+ T cells at baseline and showed evidence of CD8+ T-cell activation after therapy with greater upregulation of CD69, CTLA-4, PD-1, TIM-3, 4-1BB, and ICOS relative to non-responders. In contrast, expression of other immune checkpoint molecules such as TIM-3, LAG-3, and CD244 were greater on T cells in non-responders at baseline relative to the responder suggesting greater exhaustion of T cells in non-responders. Molecular profiling including GEP, exome sequencing, and neoantigens analysis is ongoing and will be presented at the meeting. Conclusions:This pilot study of pembrolizumab monotherapy showed that it is tolerable and can induce sCR in patients with SMM. More importantly, it suggested that immunoprevention to prevent progression of SMM to MM is possible. Additional biomarker studies are needed to identify patients that are most likely to respond to this approach. Our correlative studies also provide insights into potential future combination approaches to further improve efficacy of immunoprevention strategies in SMM.

45. A Phase I/II Study of Pomalidomide and Dexamethasone with Growth Factor Support in Patients with Relapsed/Refractory Multiple Myeloma

Introduction:Pomalidomide (POM)/dexamethasone (DEX) is an approved treatment for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM). A phase I study determined the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) to be POM 4 mg on days 1-21/28 days and DEX 40 mg weekly due to four drug related dose limiting toxicities (DLTs) of grade 3 and 4 neutropenia at POM 5 mg (Richardson et al. Blood. 2013 Mar 14; 121(11): 1961-1967). POM 4 mg improved ORR (30% vs 10%) and PFS (4 vs 1.9 months) of RRMM patients when compared to high dose DEX on a randomized phase III clinical trial (San Miguel et al, Lancet Oncol 2013; 14: 1055-66). We designed a study to find the MTD of POM when given with G-CSF support in an attempt to increase the dose and efficacy. We report the results of this study (registered in clinicaltrials.gov NCT01946152). Methods:The phase I followed a standard 3+3 design to determine the MTD. The phase II accrued additional patients at the MTD to determine preliminary efficacy with a target ORR of 45%. Both Phase I and II consisted of 6*28-day cycles of induction therapy (dose escalation POM up to 10 mg + G-CSF 5 mcg/kg on days 22-28 every 28 days and DEX 40 mg weekly) followed by a maintenance schedule (Cycle 7 onwards; POM 2 mg on days 1-21/28 days with DEX 40 mg weekly) given until progression or toxicity. MTD was defined as the highest dose that caused a DLT in less than 2 patients treated out of 6 patients. The maximum sample size was determined at 55 patients including up to 42 patients in the phase I and 13 patients at MTD in the phase II. The primary objective of the study was to determine the MTD of POM/DEX given with G-CSF support. The secondary objectives were ORR, PFS and further evaluation of safety at the MTD. Patients needed to have RRMM with measurable disease (serum M-protein ≥ 0.5 g/dL or urine BJ ≥ 200 mg/24 hours; light chain myeloma patients required an involved sFLC level ≥ 100 mg/L with an abnormal sFLC ratio). Patients must have received ≥ 2 cycles of lenalidomide (LEN) and bortezomib (BZ) (either in separate regimens or as part of the same regimen) and primary refractory or patients refractory to the most recent regimen were also eligible. Patients had to have received ≤ 5 lines of prior therapy. The distribution of time-to-event endpoints including progression free survival and overall survival were estimated using the method of Kaplan and Meier. Intent-to-treat analysis was applied for toxicity data. Results:From June 2014 until November 2016, twelve patients were enrolled in the phase I study and eight in phase II (Table 1). Three patients each were treated in the POM 4 mg and 5 mg cohorts, respectively, without DLTs. Dose was escalated to POM 6 mg and six patients were treated. Two patients had DLTs (one patient had febrile neutropenia and another patient grade 3 neutropenia). The MTD and phase II dosing was determined to be POM 5 mg + G-CSF 5 mcg/kg on days 22-28 every 28 days and DEX 40 mg weekly. ORR (≥ partial response) for the phase II portion is 62.5% (PR n=5/8 [62.5% and minor response (MR) n=3/8 [37.5%]). Accrual to the phase II portion of the study is ongoing. Overall, high dose POM was very well tolerated. For the entire study, Grade 3 related hematologic adverse events were thrombocytopenia (n=2; 10%), neutropenia (n=1, 5%) and febrile neutropenia (n=1; 5%). Grade 3 related non-hematological events were upper respiratory infection (n=1; 5%) and dyspnea (n=1; 5%). There were no grade 4 or 5 adverse events. At a median follow up of 22 months, median progression free survival (PFS) for patients on the study was 19.6 months and median survival time has not been reached. Conclusion:Pomalidomide can be safely administered at a dose of 5 mg if given with G-CSF support, providing an encouraging ORR of >60% in this cohort of patients with early relapse. Randomized studies are needed to determine the comparative efficacy with the current approved dose of 4 mg.

Light bending is one of the significant predictions of general relativity (GR) and it has been confirmed with great accuracy during the past one hundred years. In this paper, we semiclassically calculate the deflection angle for the photons that just graze the Sun in the infinite derivative theories of gravity (IDG) which is a ghost and singularity free theory of gravity. From our calculations, we find that the deflection angle θ only depends on Λ/E. θ→θE when Λ/E→∞ and decrease to zero when Λ/E→0. The transition interval occurs at 104

Recently Liang et al. [Phys. Rev. D 93, 103525 (2016)] found a tentative line signal at about 43 GeV in the directions of 16 nearby galaxy clusters. If arising from dark matter annihilation, the mass of the dark matter particles should be mχ∼43 GeV and the annihilation cross section 〈σv〉∼5×10-28(BF/10³)-1 cm³ s-1 is needed, where BF is the averaged boost factor of the annihilation signal of these galaxy clusters. In this work we discuss several models which could interpret these features and estimate the model parameters. Usually a sizeable coupling parameter is needed. The 2σ upper limits on the cross section of the dark matter annihilation into various final states such as bb, μ+μ- and so on are also presented. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract: In modern cryptosystem, Anonymity means that in some sense any adversary cannot tell which one of public keys has been used for encrypting a plaintext, and was first formally defined as the indistinguishability of keys by Bellare et al. in 2001. Recently, several well-known techniques have been proposed in order to achieve the anonymity of public-key encryption schemes. In this paper, anonymity is considered first from a new perspective. And then basing on this new perspective, a one-time encryption-key technique is proposed to achieve the anonymity of traditional discrete-logarithm-based (DL-based) encryption scheme. In this new technique, for each encryption, a random one-time encryption-key will be generated to encrypt the plaintext, instead of the original public-key. Consequently, in roughly speaking, by the randomness of the generated one-time encryption-key, this new technique should achieve the anonymity. Furthermore, in the formal proof of anonymity, only based on several weaker conditions, the one-time encryption-key technique efficiently achieves the provable indistinguishability of keys under chosen ciphertext attack (IK-CCA anonymity). As a result, compared with the work of Hayashi and Tanaka in 2006, the one-time encryption-key technique presented here has fewer requirements for achieving the provable anonymity. The conversion between photons and axionlike particles (ALPs) in the Milky Way magnetic field could result in the detectable oscillation phenomena in γ-ray spectra of Galactic sources. In this work, the GeV (Fermi-LAT) and TeV (MAGIC/VERITAS/H.E.S.S.) data of three bright supernova remnants (SNRs), i.e., IC443, W51C, and W49B, have been adopted together to search for such an oscillation effect. Different from our previous analysis of the sole Fermi-LAT data of IC443, we do not find any reliable signal for the photon-ALP oscillation in the joint broadband spectrum of each SNR. The reason for the inconsistency is that in this work we use the latest revision (P8R3) of Fermi-LAT data, updated diffuse emission templates, and the new version of the source catalog (4FGL), which lead to some modification of the GeV spectrum of IC443. Then we set constraints on ALP parameters based on the combined analysis of all three sources. Though these constraints are somewhat weaker than limits from the CAST experiment and globular clusters, they are supportive of and complementary to these other results. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
