4. Microscopic Image Processing and Analysis of Magneto-Optic Recording Domain

Abstract

A method for calculating characteristic parameters of magneto-optic(MO) recording domain was suggested. With the MO recording domain processing and analysis system to preprocess, binarilize and quantize original domain image, the fine structure of the recorded domain was reshowed on the monitor and its quantitative analysis results were obtained, such as domain area, diameter and ellipticity, etc. The morphology readout intensity of recorded domain can be evaluated by the values of the quantitative parameters.
