The Polaris Program, led by entrepreneur Jared Isaacman, is planning to launch a four-person crew into space later this year. The mission has two main goals: to raise money for St Jude Children's Hospital and to conduct 38 experiments from institutions worldwide. The crew will fly the Dragon spacecraft deeper into space than ever before and will also perform the first-ever private spacewalk. The crew members are experienced in aerospace operations and are currently undergoing extensive training for the mission. The Polaris Program aims to develop new technologies, make space accessible to everyone, and address real-world problems on Earth. The launch date for the mission, called Polaris Dawn, has not yet been announced. [Extracted from the article]
