Abstract

•Super capacitive properties of porous carbon derived from aZIF in a device system for the first time exhibited.•The activated aZIF derivatives have shown good capacitance property in KOH electrolyte with low capacitance fade.•Porous carbon derived from aZIF has been used in a wearable flexible wristband as electrode material for the first time.•The capacitive performance of porous carbon derived from aZIF in flexible wristband has possible potential for commercialization.
