Context: The oral health-related early childhood quality of life (OH-ECQoL) tool, designed to evaluate how dental issues affect preschoolers' and their family's quality of life (QoL), has been translated and validated in many languages. However, it has not yet been adapted into the Konkani language. Aim: Cross-cultural adaptation of OH-ECQoL tool for use in the Konkani-speaking population in the state of Goa among primary caregivers of children aged 24-71 months. Settings and Design: This cross-sectional was conducted at Goa Dental College and Hospital. Subjects and Methods: The study was divided into a forward-backward translation phase and a psychometric-testing phase of the Konkani version of OH-ECQoL (K-OH-ECQoL) scale. Two hundred and forty children aged 24-71 months were recruited and clinically examined for dental caries and their caregivers completed the K-OH-ECQoL questionnaire. Reliability was assessed in a subsample of 24 participants after a 2-week interval. Statistical Analysis Used: Construct, discriminant, and criterion validity were evaluated. Reliability and internal consistency were measured using the intraclass correlation (ICC) and Cronbach's alpha coefficient, respectively. Furthermore, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and cross-cultural validity were evaluated. Results: Concurrent validity showed a strong significant correlation between the global rating of oral health and total K-OH-ECQoL score. Convergent validity demonstrated a moderate positive significant correlation between the items. K-OH-ECQoL scores were significantly associated with the caries severity, indicating a good discriminant validity. Test-retest reliability was 0.86 and internal consistency was 0.873. CFA indicated an acceptable fit. Cross-cultural validity showed very good item discrimination. A moderate correlation was found between CAMBRA-123 scores and overall K-OH-ECQoL score and between CAMBRA-123 scores and child impact section. Conclusions: The study confirmed that the K-OH-ECQoL is a valid and reliable tool with good psychometric properties for evaluating the impact of early childhood caries on the QoL of preschool children aged 24-71 months and their families. This study examined the clinical effects of career counseling on psychological distress and the role of counselor adherence, working alliance, and client neuroticism in predicting these effects. The 239 participants received an average of 7.81 sessions at a university career counseling center. Among clients with a clinical level of psychological distress (n = 179) at the study's inception, 55.87% recovered, 22.35% improved, 19.55% experienced no change, and 2.23% saw an aggravation of their psychological distress. Results showed that a higher level of counselor adherence to the intervention manual significantly increased the probability that clients recovered or improved as compared to not experiencing significant change. Working alliance did not predict clinical change, nor did it moderate the effect of counselor adherence. Clients who improved had higher levels of neuroticism than clients who recovered. Although social innovation can help multinational enterprise (MNE) subsidiaries create social value for developing countries, they often encounter significant challenges in successfully implementing social innovation projects. This research applies the knowledge-based perspective to propose and test a theoretical framework to explain why MNE subsidiaries differ in their ability to pursue social innovation successfully in a developing country. The framework contends that MNEs' relationship learning contributes to social innovation variability under varying levels of subsidiary autonomy and mode of entry. Analysis of primary data collected from 207 subsidiaries of MNEs operating in Ghana shows that relationship learning has a positive relationship with social innovation. Further analysis reveals that subsidiary autonomy enhances the positive association between relationship learning and social innovation, and that this moderating effect is stronger for subsidiaries with equity entry mode as opposed to non-equity entry mode. These insights advance the limited understanding of the antecedents of MNEs' social innovation in developing countries and offer guidance on how MNE subsidiaries can successfully pursue social innovation interventions in a developing country. Purpose: The main purpose of this paper is to determine the current trend of studies conducted on the predictive power of Economic Policy Uncertainty (EPU) on financial markets. Design/methodology/approach: This study was led via a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by the PRISMA Statement (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses). The PRISMA Statement is guided by three steps: 1) establishing specific research questions to conduct systematic research, 2) Determine the criteria for inclusion and exclusion, and 3) analysing large databases of scientific literature in a specific time frame. Research articles between 2016 and 2020 were gathered based on the selected keywords and inclusion criteria. Findings: The result of the study indicates that EPU can potentially be used to forecast the returns and volatility of financial markets. However, there are several areas that are currently understudied and needs further validations, for instance, the financial markets in the emerging economies. Research limitations/implications: This paper identifies the gaps in the research on Economic Policy Uncertainty and Financial Markets by conducting a comprehensive systematic literature review. Practical Implications: The findings of this study are likely to have ramifications for investors and policy makers in terms of using EPU index to add value to investments as well as manage risk effectively. Originality/value: To the best of author's knowledge, little effort has been devoted to systematising the literature on the predictability of economic policy uncertainty on financial markets, hence, this gap is bridged by the research.
