The article discusses medications that can be used as treatment for pediatric attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) to address the shortage of prescription stimulants in the U.S. Topics discussed include the results of a clinical study of the dextroamphetamine patch Xelstrym, the contraindications and adverse drug effects of lisdexamfetamine dimesylate (Vyvanse), and the administration of viloxazine (Qelbree).
