Keith Helfet, a car designer, has had an unconventional career in the industry. He spent 25 years at Jaguar, where he was responsible for styling five cars, often without interference. Helfet's most notable designs include the XJ41 sports car and the XJ220 supercar. Despite facing challenges and setbacks, Helfet considers himself lucky to have had the opportunity to design these iconic vehicles. He has also worked on other projects, such as the Morgan and the Joule electric car. Helfet's autobiography, "Design & Desire," provides further insights into his career. [Extracted from the article]
