The article outlines the controversial reprint of a cartoon drawn by Kurt Westergaard and published by "Jyllands-Posten" in Denmark on February 13, 2008. The caricature depicts the prophet Mohammed with a bomb in his turban, causing international controversy worldwide in 2006. It was reprinted in response to the discovery of a terrorist plot by three Muslims to kill Westergard. According to Reuters, to show solidarity, more than five daily newspapers, 10 smaller papers, and one Swedish daily printed the cartoon. The drawing is considered offensive by most Muslim resulting to the attacks on Danish embassies in the Middle East, Africa and Asia wherein more than 50 people were killed in riots.
