The article presents several ethnic games that has been developed to allow all students to experience mathematics in a multicultural context. The first game is called Senet, an Egyptian game, which asks the students to use their number sense, together with their addition and subtraction skills, to advance on the gameboard. Roshambo, a game which originates in Japan and is known in English as Rock, Paper and Scissors, and is designed to use three different versions from different countries. The third game is the African game is called Mancala, which helps reinforce several standards of mathematics.
