Nowadays, more scholars and practitioners are committed to improving and applying type-2 fuzzy sets (T2FSs) in various domains because of the stronger ability to handle the uncertainty of fuzzy complex systems. To explore the status and internal laws of development of this field, this paper presents the development overview based on the bibliometric analysis, then the dynamic evolution of main topics and the knowledge diffusion trajectory are also displayed on the basis of the strategy diagram and main path analysis (MPA). From 1997 to 2019, 1749 documents are retrieved from Web of Science (WoS) repository for the analysis. The results show that there are four stable collaborative communities existing in the countries/regions' collaborative network and the collaboration is affected by geographical factors to some degree. Three main evolution paths of hot topics are also presented in this paper and the multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) has gradually developed into the moto theme. Furthermore, articles appearing on the main path mainly focus on the research of basic concept and framework, self-optimization and applications in various domains of T2FSs. The challenges to providing healthy and appropriate developmental experiences to vulnerable children in an institutionalised setting remain enormous. At Udayan Care orphanage, children arrive at our doorstep with unimaginable trauma. Udayan Care, a non-governmental organisation in India, has modelled its 13 Children's Homes and three Aftercare facilities on a holistic group care model; where small numbers of children are placed together in an apartment in a community to address their traumatic experiences and other life adversities within the context of this new environment. This paper details how, with limited funds, Udayan Care has been able to tackle the challenges of providing homes where children can undergo the slow process of healing, surrounded by supportive and dedicated professionals (carers) who do their best to meet their ongoing developmental needs. These carers work on obstacles affecting the children, concentrating their energies on aiding them in developing more secure and healthy attachments, adaptive emotional regulation skills, and capacities for resilience within the context of holding a vision for their futures. Our homes draw upon staff and the local community in unique ways to foster these developmental goals. This paper focuses especially on how issues of retention and lack of sufficient funds impact on recruiting lifetime volunteers (Mentor Parents), training volunteers and supporting them in their ongoing work. Additionally, this paper highlights ways in which we have addressed coping with these obstacles, through recruiting experts trained abroad to lead in-person and online workshops for our carers. According to a preprint abstract, humans exhibit a type of psychological certainty called the "certainty signature of central form." This means that as people navigate the world, they expect the entities they encounter to possess certain form properties. In two experiments, participants showed psychological certainty that form properties would exist in new instances of kinds, but not for other properties that were part of their generic knowledge. Hyaluronic acid is composed of repeating sugar units, glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine, which are often associated with increased tumor progression. Urtica dioica agglutinin is a potential component that exhibits a high affinity for binding to N-acetylglucosamine. This study aimed to investigate U. dioica Agglutininʼs potential to inhibit the proliferation and migration of prostate cancer cells with high expression of hyaluronic acid through molecular docking and in vitro studies. The expression of hyaluronan synthase genes in prostate tissue and cell lines was checked by an in silico study, and the interaction between hyaluronic acid with both CD44 transmembrane glycoprotein and U. dioica agglutinin was analyzed through molecular docking. U. dioica Agglutininʼs effect on cell viability (neutral red uptake assay), migration (scratch wound healing assays), and both CD44 and Nanog expression (quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction) were assessed in vitro. The results showed that in prostate cancer cell lines, the PC3 cell line has the highest expression of hyaluronan synthase genes. U. dioica agglutinin exhibits an interaction of six specific residues on CD44 compared to hyaluronic acidʼs singular residue. While U. dioica agglutinin alone effectively reduced cell viability and wound closer (≥ 150 µg/mL), combining it with hyaluronic acid significantly shifted the effective concentration to a higher dose (≥ 350 µg/mL). These results, together with low Nanog and high CD44 gene expression, suggest that U. dioica agglutinin may impair the CD44-HA pathway in PC3 cells. This possibility is supported by U. dioica Agglutininʼs ability to compete with hyaluronic acid for binding to CD44. Based on this, U. dioica agglutinin as a plant lectin shows promise in inhibiting cancer proliferation and migration by targeting its dependence on hyaluronic acid. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper presents the position of the Latin American working group of the International Foundation for Integrated Care (IFIC). The working group brings together various Latin American actors and organizations in support of actions that facilitate the transformation of health systems in the region towards integrated systems that focus on people not as isolated individuals but as subjects of law in the complex social and environmental contexts where they live and interact. The working group proposes nine pillars of integrated care to be used as a conceptual framework for policy development and changes in practices: 1) shared vision and values; 2) population health; 3) people and communities as partners; 4) resilient communities; 5) capacities of human resources for health; 6) governance and leadership; 7) digital solutions; 8) aligned payment systems; and 9) public transparency. Based on these pillars, lines of work are proposed to strengthen alliances and networks, advocacy, research, and capacity-building, in order to help develop health and social systems that are effectively integrated and focused not only on people but also on communities in Latin America. The conceptual structures built with Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) and its extensions are appropriate constructs for supporting Exploratory Search (ES). FCA indeed classifies a set of objects described by Boolean attributes in a concept lattice which is prone to (intra-lattice) navigation. Relational Concept Analysis (RCA), for its part, classifies several sets of objects connected through multiple binary relationships by using logical operators (quantifiers) which can be approximate. The output is a set of interconnected concept lattices, thus adding inter-lattice navigation opportunities. In this paper, we describe the web platform RCAviz, which aims to support such intra- and inter-lattice navigation. The user can select a subset of objects and attributes as a starting point for navigation. Then RCAviz shows the associated concept and its close intra- and inter-lattice neighbors. The user can access to the objects and attributes introduced and inherited in a concept. They then can navigate, i.e. zoom and pan the current view, and move from one concept to another. Additional views show the previous and the next conceptual structures, as well as an history which allows the user to browse its navigation. The Lighthouse Foundation provides long-term accommodation to young people aged 15–25 at risk of homelessness, through a therapeutic model of care. This paper will explore its application to young people with histories in the out-of-home care system and those who are leaving care, by focusing on a four-stage process of recovery and the unique experiences it raises for this population based on their history. Drawing on themes identified through our practice with vulnerable young people, it is proposed that key elements of the programme and process hold particular relevance to the long-term recovery of this population, including the provision of stable and consistent therapeutic residential workers, an integrated care team, and the capacity to work with the young person beyond his or her eighteenth birthday. Kinship-care placements in Australia are now more prevalent than foster care and are the fastest growing form of out-of-home care in this country (AIHW, 2014). On 30 June 2013, 93% of Australian children in out-of-home care were in home-based care, with 43% of these in foster care and 48% in relative/kinship care (AIHW, 2014). The past decade has seen a greater understanding of children's needs in out-of-home care, with models of therapeutic care showing promise in Australia and internationally. These models, however, are designed almost exclusively for children placed in foster care or residential care, and as such do not consider the unique features of kinship care. This paper will identify the needs of children in out-of-home care, before briefly examining the concepts of therapeutic foster care as a response to children who have experienced trauma. Key distinctions between foster care and kinship care will be highlighted and implications for a conceptual model of therapeutic kinship care discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Topological relations are the predominant backbone of qualitative spatial reasoning, focusing to date mostly on objects that are embedded in R 2. With the advent of ball-shaped screen technologies and the growing importance of globally situated data, the digital sphere, known as T 2 , becomes a viable embedding. While topological relations have been investigated for a spherical embedding S 2 within a continuous framework, the lack of a full account of the relations in T 2 prevents more refined query systems on global discrete data. This paper extends the concept of spherical topological relations to the digital spherical embedding, building on the model of a planar digital region in Z 2 whose boundary comprises the pixels along the region's margin. With the 9-intersection and its detailed descendant, the 9+-intersection, 29 relations between two digital regions are derived. This set of binary digital spherical relations is jointly exhaustive and pairwise disjoint. The relations' conceptual neighborhood graph, capturing the similarity among the relations, further highlights that 18 of the 29 relations are refinements of those found in S 2. These topological relations between digital regions coincide with the binary relations found between broad-boundary regions when the broad boundaries are of uniform thickness, a scenario preventing the inclusion of an entire interior of one region within the boundary of the other. There is a lack of research data about children with disabilities across the range of child and family welfare services. The study reported in this paper explored the extent and nature of disabilities in children in a variety of programmes within OzChild, an Australian welfare agency. Caseworkers and teachers working with children at the beginning of 2012 considered all children receiving services from their programmes. Of these 475 children, 200 were identified as having a disability. This article presents data on these 200 children and recommendations for improving outcomes for them. A major finding was that disability added further layers of complexity to already complex child–carer/family situations presenting to under-resourced practitioners and programmes. There was an extensive variety of disabilities across all programme areas, and varying proportions across programmes ranging from 29 per cent in kinship care and family services to 44 per cent of children in foster care. Data were suggestive of problems with some diagnoses, and the need for further research in these areas. The need to address questions of causation of environmentally based disability through preventative programmes, and a more targeted approach to families with multiple and complex needs were indicated. Lack of respite care was jeopardising some placements of children with severe disability. Lack of educational achievement and participation in social, cultural and recreational activities were identified, as were inequities in funding across different programme areas – all of which resulted in some children with disabilities continuing to be substantially disadvantaged. This paper presents, in the context of the universal health strategy, some general considerations and economic actions on financing, efficiency and other economic challenges of public health in Cuba. Official bibliographic sources of the Cuban state were revised up to 2015. The analyses of time series were adjusted to constant prices of 1997 and the official exchange rate of 1 Cuban peso = 1 US dollar. The Cuban National Health System has a solid infrastructure, consisting of a wide network of health facilities that guarantee full coverage, access and equity in the services provided to the population through qualified human resources. An economic analysis was carried out under the conceptual framework of the universal health strategy, with an emphasis in financing, efficiency and challenges of the Cuban public health system to maintain the right to health of its citizens, equity, coverage and access to the services provided, including the elimination of economic, sociocultural and gender barriers, as well as solidarity with the Cuban population and the world. It was concluded that in Cuba, universal health is considered one of its most valuable achievements, although it is needed a most efficient analysis of reliable and available sources, research and application of results to practice on the strengths and weaknesses of the system regarding health economics, updating and a better use of resources and technologies, as well as deepening the lessons learned and facing remaining challenges. The achievements and challenges arising from the application of eHealth in the Cuban context to support universal health are presented. The Ministry of Public Health defi- ned the Computerization Strategy, whose lines of work are based on the components declared in the Strategy and Plan of Action on eHealth of the Pan American Health Organization, and in the Policy for the Computerization of the Society, approved by the Cuban Government. The paper describes the actions of the Cuban strategy elaborated to solve the limitations in the technological infrastructure, to develop the platforms, the tools and the applications required by the health services, and to stimulate the professionals' abilities to use them. The results of eHealth in Cuba are based on the application and evaluation of the strategy implemented in the framework of the improvement of the health sector through projects such as the electronic medical record called Galen Clínicas, the training of human resources and the resources for information and education from the Infomed Health Telematics Network. These models of solidarity and collaborative networking have contributed to universal health and positively impacted on the health system beyond the borders. The challenges of eHealth are the development of initiatives in mobile health --in which there is little experience--; telemedicine --a project that is stopped--; integration and interoperability among applications; the sustainability of the implemented solutions; insufficient technological infrastructure; and strengthening of the legal framework. Advanced practice nursing (APN) is a term used to describe a variety of possible nursing roles operating at an advanced level of practice. Historically, APN roles haves evolved informally, out of the need to improve access to health care services for at-risk and disadvantaged populations and for those living in underserved rural and remote communities. To address health needs, especially ones related to primary health care, nurses acquired additional skills through practice experience, and over time they developed an expanded scope of practice. More recently, APN roles have been developed more formally through the establishment of graduate education programs to meet agreed-upon competencies and standards for practice. The introduction of APN roles is expected to advance primary health care throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, where few such roles exist. The purpose of the paper is to outline an implementation strategy to guide and support the introduction of primary health care APN roles in Latin America and the Caribbean. The strategy includes the adaptation of an existing framework, utilization of recent research evidence, and application of knowledge from experts on APN and primary health care. The strategy consists of nine steps. Each step includes a national perspective that focuses on direct country involvement in health workforce planning and development and on implementation. In addition, each step incorporates an international perspective on encouraging countries that have established APN programs and positions to collaborate in health workforce development with nations without advanced practice nursing. Health information systems play a key role in enabling high quality, complete health information to be available in a timely fashion for operational and strategic decision-making that makes it possible to save lives and improve the health and quality of life of the population. In many countries, health information systems are weak, incomplete, and fragmented. However, there is broad consensus in the literature of the need to strengthen health information systems in countries around the world. The objective of this paper is to present the essential components of the conceptual framework to strengthen health information systems in Peru. It describes the principal actions and strategies of the Ministry of Health of Peru during the process of strengthening health information systems. Abstract: The theory of Formal Concept Analysis is used as a knowledge representation mechanism and as a conceptual clustering method. Formal context is a basic notion in this theory. This paper proposes a kind of formal context, called n-Strong-Direct-Product-Formal-Context (n-SDPFC, for short), by the strong direct product of n formal contexts. It is found that the new context is closely related to the n original formal contexts in many aspects, for example, the concept lattices, and the implications between attributes, and so on. With the help of Kronecker product of boolean matrices, the main features of an n-SDPFC is given, and the method how to represent a formal context with such features by the strong direct product of some small formal contexts is brought forward. With this method, the workload for knowledge acquisition in formal context will be eased enormously. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Research on health policies is considered essential to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of public policies. Analyses of public health policies have various objectives, including helping to solve the problems for which the policy was originated. That objective faces two large obstacles: (1) the ambiguity and heterogeneity of the models applied for the analysis of public policies, conditions that hinder the selection of analytical methods and the assessment of the scope of the objective; and (2) the traditional methodological approaches that limit the capacity of analyses to help solve the problems detected. This paper reviews the epistemology of the predominant models of public health policy analysis in order to assess their scope and limitations. It concludes that the development of new conceptual approaches could improve the quality of research on public policies and their ability to favorably impact decisions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract: This paper addresses the important problem of efficiently mining numerical data with formal concept analysis (FCA). Classically, the only way to apply FCA is to binarize the data, thanks to a so-called scaling procedure. This may either involve loss of information, or produce large and dense binary data known as hard to process. In the context of gene expression data analysis, we propose and compare two FCA-based methods for mining numerical data and we show that they are equivalent. The first one relies on a particular scaling, encoding all possible intervals of attribute values, and uses standard FCA techniques. The second one relies on pattern structures without a priori transformation, and is shown to be more computationally efficient and to provide more readable results. Experiments with real-world gene expression data are discussed and give a practical basis for the comparison and evaluation of the methods. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

At the Victorian Child Trauma service, we are using a sensorimotor framework to help children recover from their experiences of trauma. Informed by the work of Pat Odgen, this approach helps children to feel safe, aware and connected to their bodies and minds. In this article, we will describe the development of a group program incorporating sensorimotor principles, with the aim of helping children to regulate and engage in healing relationships. Group outcomes suggest that the use of sensory elements and principles in guiding our group program helps dysregulated children to establish safety and connection in meaningful ways with those around them. The adoption of the Sanctuary Model within Churches of Christ Care Pathways, an Australian non-government organisation in the child protection sector, has influenced a fundamental attitudinal shift towards enhanced wellbeing for clients, employees and carers alike. By drawing on the four pillars of Sanctuary, which incorporate theoretical and practical strategies, a safe environment can be created to heal trauma on an individual, organisational and community level, with the view towards a future of growth, change and resilience. The four pillars; Theory, SELF (Safety, Emotion Management, Loss and Future), the Seven Commitments and the Tools, support healing from trauma, and bring about organisational change.
