Abstract

The article focuses on the 11th International Conference on the Treatment of Addictive Behaviors that transpired in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The event was centered on the importance of studying treatment processes and therapeutic mechanisms including factors that cause therapeutic change. The convention with the theme "Treatments for Addictions: What Works and Why" was well-attended by researchers and clinicians from Australia, Finland, France, Namibia, Israel, New Zealand and South Africa.
