Abstract
The article discusses the report released by the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) on the benefits and weaknesses found at Grants.gov, the government's central portal for grants-related information. It is noted that through interviews and a survey, applicants reported difficulties registering with and using Grants.gov. It is mentioned that Grants.gov is responsible for disseminating information for federal programs that fund research. Key findings from the report are included.
