The article presents a discussion on the possibility of science and religion being intimately related. The author states that one must not allow the superficial successes of science to divert from the tentative nature of knowledge. He affirms that at looking at the real nature of science, it is broadly similar to religion. Science attempts to understand how the universe works and also assesses the role of atoms and molecules in the formation of human beings and the world and similar to this, religion also attempts to understand the meaning and purpose of the universe, including human life.
