Abstract
The article presents the author's views on the growth prospects of the information technology industry in India as of July 2012, highlighting the need to reinforce skills among employees and deliver maximum value to the firm. He states that the announcements of economic growth are exaggerated and that there are no signs of serious problems in the industry. He also reflects on the efforts of trade body National Association of Software and Services Companies in advancing industrial issues.
